I really didn't think I gave them that much play, but apparently I did over my September (comp) trip to Excalibur. I got a postcard offer for 2 nights comped at Park a couple weeks ago, but the other day, I got one for 4 nights + $10 Freeplay at Excalibur!

I've already got a trip booked for February (not budging from that Nomad room!) and one in May at Paris with the Sweetie for our anniversary. I booked September 2020 just to have something on the books for those 4 comp nights at Excal, but really, this is getting crazy.

I haven't gone in to check my win/loss, but I know for a fact I came home with most of my bankroll intact, and I had more losses at the Cal (which sent me an intro offer, just discounts, no comps), not the MLife properties.

Rooms must be a low enough cost that they can dangle them. Well, it works!

    Well, yeah.

The casino rate is probably about $25. So $1,000 (and probably less) coin-in on slots is enough to cover that.

Just checked my win/loss, and yeah, I guess my coin in is enough. Who says low rollers can't get comps? lol.

I think you're being overly generous with the casino rate. I see rooms there advertised regularly to the public under $20. They make most of their room money there on the 200%+ resort fees on the $20 and under rooms, and they arent waiving them for comps on low rollers. I only have about 3 or 4 hours play on my MGM card give or take, huge winner overall since I got the 15 gold buffalo at Bellagio, and even I get the 2 night comp offers for Excal and Luxor pretty regularly. I've seen Excalibur advertised for as low as 12 or 13 per night room rate to the public on the OTAs, so I would assume casino rate is at least that low, at least in the dead times.

@miss_sonja - still time to make it for thanksgiving!

Beau Rivage booked same day as Luxor. One will win. Leaning Biloxi.
Vegas or Biloxi. Going somewhere for Labor Day weekend...

So I've never even played at Excalibur or Park MGM and I've gotten comp room offers there. lol They aren't exactly the most discerning of properties; just sayin'.

Paris though is pretty nice and doesn't give out comped rooms to everyone. I think your "sweetie" will enjoy the anniversary. :)

CET is the best on free rooms. Keep in mind that free means 40 bucks in resort fees. Still good deal.

I ran 20 bucks in a slot there while my brother was using the bathroom and I just got four nights comped. This is still after low playing them on a comped suite a couple years ago, so as long as you have a pulse and wallet Excalibur will comp rooms.

We’re going to the coast for thanksgiving so no Vegas for me that week. It’s a great time to be there but with the coast trip + some work stuff I can’t get out of...

The ExCal offer included free play. First time getting that!

Not to be a killjoy, but you get Excalibur comp nights just by looking at the property when driving by in an Uber.

I had Excalibur comp nights, free plays and F&B credits thrown at me for years, and I don't recall even having a Bud Light there, ever.

Fingers crossed the Mirage will be open!!

I was skeptical tbh, but I had a really good stay there in September. Happy to give them another go.
