How is Electra @ The Venetian?
We’re both in our 40’s and looking for a cool, modern bar with good music to hang out.
Not looking for the “club scene”.

It's fine, kind of pricey for what it is, but it's definitely not a club scene. Music I have found kind of hit or miss. Not really consistent or the focus of the place.

One of the best lounges in Vegas. Modern vibe/music, but if you go before about 9p you won't be blown over by the music volume. Fantastic bartender staff, they specialize in rum and mezcal. Menu drinks are mostly not "classics" per se but they are fun and of course they can make pretty much any cocktail you want off menu. Gets a little more "clubby" on weekends after 9p as they remove bar seats for the most part and the music volume jumps up when the DJ starts. If you want something more classic after Electra, Rosina directly across the casino has a more classic menu and vibe, and no DJ's.

There isn't one, but most people wear what they would wear to a sit-down dinner. After the DJ starts you'll see some club wear but I feel completely comfortable in there with nicer jeans and a polo.

Is the DJ weekends only? Any chance they’d be in there on a Wednesday or Thursday night?

Great place for good cocktails and knowledgeable staff. Not too clubby. Rosina is right next door for a more intimate vibe
