As much of a Las Vegas Icon as anyone can be.... such a good person and philanthropist that co-created so much of the town we all love. RIP Elaine.

Ironically, we're checking in to the Wynn Tower Suites today.... The Wynn legacy will certainly be on my mind this trip.

I hate to be the one to ask, but do we have a source for this? I can't find this reported anywhere

Wow, just read it now.

How devastatingly sad. She was one of a kind. A fabulous person who will be missed.

Edit: Actually @Dean Martin was right on top of it. He seems to have posted it here a few minutes before all the news organizations reported it. Not sure where he got his information.

Credit goes to CNBC’s Becky Quick. I’m on a plane but would have liked to hear what Jim Cramer had to say at 9 am… he was a huge fan of both Steve and Elaine.

I was very sad to read this. I’m sure the city of Las Vegas is both thankful and proud of having such a tremendous touchstone of culture, class and legacy interwoven into the tapestry of all the best that the city of big dreams has to offer visitors from around the globe.

Most of the casinos had their outdoor displays set to a memorial display/obituary with a nice photo of Elaine Wynn and her year born/death. It was a tasteful obituary. Albeit 100ft and in LED form. Vegas appropriate. She did a lot for the local community.
