Effect of paid parking on taxi lines?

Does anyone who has stayed at the various MGM properties (except for Circus, of course) have any observations of what effects, if any, the paid parking had on the length of taxi lines and the wait for a taxi?

I would think it would take some time to have a noticeable impact. Keep in mind that so many people visit less frequently that some of us here. They do not even know about the parking charges until they get to the hotel.
