Had a great time on a recent long weekend trip with family and friends who have never been.

WEDNESDAY: Left after work Wednesday from BWI and had no problems. Connections were smooth and everyone's plane arrived on time. We got luggage with no wait even though the airport was crowded.
Arrived at Luxor and had no wait to check in. We were given tower connecting rooms which was great. Would like to have had a view of the strip, but for $69.00 what more do you want. Went to grab a bite to eat and a drink. Also went to gamble a little bit. Didn't win anything, just about broke even, but that was the line for the trip.

Breaking even for the trip is like winning in my book. If I get to spend a couple nights in LV for little to no cash outlay (other than hotel), then I am more than fine with that! :D

Just curious......where is BWI?

Just wanted to say, I love your quote at the bottom of your posts. *lol*

Monty Python's Holy Grail no doubt.

;) :D

A classmate of mine when I did my master's had a Holy Grail party for graduation (one of our professors showed Monty Python clips in class, and put Calvin & Hobbes cartoons on our quizzes) At the party we had to fill out a name tag with our favorite color and other answers to those oh so important questions, like "African, or European?" It was a great way to meet people, since they weren't all people from my program.
