Hard to say for the others, but I'm staying at MSS and on a solo trip, so I would stick around until either the crowd disperses or I'm voted off the island.

Wife and I are staying at MSS also...
So, whatever's clever...if we can get the entire group to play craps, that'd be fun, lol.

I will be enjoying one at the time and location previously encrypted in this thread. Hopefully it will be accompany the Reign of Quads I hope to attain.

It's not really encrypted, its in TIM's first post. I was hoping to bump this thread with a clever and interesting post.

The awesome thing about High Roller Gold is that it was made to resemble a typical American pale lager but is actually a filtered wheat ale (unusual as most wheat beer is unfiltered, giving it a cloudy appearance from residual yeast). They're literally tricking people into drinking higher quality beer than most are used to.

I don't know if I was "tricked" but I was "steered" to it. A couple years ago I told the bartender I had to try one of their brews but I'm not well versed on craft beers. I mentioned I don't like dark or thick bodied and usually drank Miller High Life or Bud. High Roller was the first one he let me sample and I haven't tried any others.

Now the HRG is a staple on every trip and thankfully it's one they serve out on the floor.

    Easter@Boars Head G2G Official Goals:

    1. Get Bungadin to try out a Marker Pale Ale (although actually you may like a Hefeweizen from 777 quite a bit)
    2. ???
    3. PROFIT!

Seriously though, this damn countdown clock can't go fast enough.

    1. I'll try almost anything but if that Hef is anything like the Hef in my bars forget it. That stuff is nasty.
    2. ??? Well said.
    3. Good Luck. I'm no defeatist but I already wrote off the modest bankroll.

I LOVE the Marker Pale Ale. Tis my favorite.
I do typically try to at least sample whatever the brewmaster's special is at 777 when I visit too, but I always go back to the Marker when at Boar's Head.

The last time I gambled with Bungadin, a plethora of Washington Apples were consumed (the shot, not the fruit). He may or may not still have a picture of my drivers license on file for possible future blackmail purposes.

I had to delete the license on conscientious grounds and the fact it was so out of focus I couldn't read it.

But those WA's did come easy. The cash stuffed tip glass probably had something to do with it.

You were on fire with some of those wins.

I must have consumed quite a few WAs because:

    1) I have no idea what the proper strategy is for Double Bonus
    2) I remember hitting the quad 10s, but have absolutely no recollection of the quad 2s.

Coincidentally I saw my bartender friend make a few Washington Apples at my local tavern this past weekend, looks pretty good but the inclusion of cranberry juice nixes it for me since it is the one thing I'm allergic to.

    In the home stretch...

Hours to go and counting and picketing.

Let's hope for the weekend it's stays a "informational" picket and not a "confrontational" picket.

We can always enter the Cal and take the bridge walkway to MSS and be rear entrance scabs.

I don't know if any planned pickets are happening this weekend. The contract settlement with Culinary and Bartenders at Golden Nugget is a good sign. Hopefully Boyd is next.

The local news here had a short video showing picketers in front of MSS, the Fremont and The D.

At MSS they were on the sidewalk along Main Street. At the Fremont Casino they were on the FSE just out from under the Casino covered walkway. I'm guessing the Fremont owns whatever they have a cover over because they regularly chase the homeless out from under there.

We might make it to MSS on Saturday. I'd like to meet you all. I'll be the short one with the funny accent if we make it there.

Cool. Are you staying at the ElCo? Is there any picketing going on?
