    Trips to Las Vegas:

    My Trip Report

In six days we only saw two Wadda Wadda One Dolla people. And one was just saying it quietly as you walked by (still a few guys at the Bellagio fountains with their water/beer coolers). Only a few panhandlers on the overpasses. Has there been a major crackdown?

We went to Tenors of Rock at Harrah’s. It was a good show. Really enjoy some of these “lesser” shows that are available now. Bellagio’s conservatory had a new Italy display with all new props. Very nice. (I think we’d seen most of the items that they’d been using (at some point in the past ). The new video sign outside of Caesars is really cool. Gorgeous graphics especially impressive at night. A good place for happy hour is Bally’s BLT steak. Half price alcohol of any type from 4-6 daily. We go there once or twice a trip.

We are small spenders when it comes to gambling, but enjoy VP at PH in the mornings for its good music. When’s the last time you heard Janis Joplin/Moody Blues/Springsteen at the other casinos? Had some fun hits. Also got this $400 progressive on a Wizard of Oz tornado machine at Casino Royale. Just threw in $5, 50 cent bet while waiting for my husband to finish on a machine and couldn’t figure out why it was paying me $400 for this unimpressive bonus. This happened on our first night, after having our flight cancelled by Allegiant the day before. So I figured it was some kind of payout from the Karma gods for me!
