Trips to Las Vegas

Greetings VMB! Heading out to Las Vegas and as usual, I'm bringing you guys with us. A little pre-trip information:

Earl (myself) and Wade are both high school teachers/football coaches in the southeast in late 20's/early 30's. We are heading to Las Vegas via Atlanta airport, flying Spirit Airlines (first gamble of the trip). We will be staying 3 comp nights at the Paris and will leave Wednesday around 2:00. Usually we are in town for 7 days, so this is a much shorter trip for us, which means we will be doing as many things as possible in a short time. Some things you will see in this thread:

Hopefully many pictures of LV, chip porn, food, drunk shenanigans.
Drunk shenanigans.
Bad decisions due to drunk shenanigans.
VP at Boar's Head Bar
Craps at The Cal
Getting 86'd from Casino Royale
Routine trip to Ellis Island
Poker at Planet Hollywood
Quick look at Lucky Dragon/Circus Circus
TAG bar at the Linq?
Craps at as many locations as possible.

If you have kept up with any TR we have done in the past, the age old question is always....Will Wade Get Laid?????

Last time the underdog pulled it out (in time hopefully). In such a short trip we will go with:

Yes +400
No -550

Heading to the airport soon!!! Updates should be coming shortly.

I suppose I'll also add that compared to most trip reports you see, we are extremely low rollers. For the trip my budget is $400 with a separate $600 poker budget. Wade's budget is $500. But we will stretch that money like you wouldn't believe. First order of business will be dinner when we land at 10:30pm tonight night. Most likely we will cab to In n Out, then check in at Paris.

I just coached a state championship game last night and got home after 2am. Going to probably be exhausted when we arrive, but hopefully I can sleep the 4+ hour flight.

Best of luck to you both....looking forward to your crazy updates! lol

  • SOON.....
In this my kinda trip. Wondering no football betting from a couple football coaches.

For anyone that has flown from Atlanta, it is the busiest airport in the world. Which means it takes forever and a day to get through especially during holidays. We were able to park for $6.50 a day at international parking, shuttle over to international terminal, and get through the short international line all within 20 minutes.

Time to find dinner in the Airport. The Varsity or Popeyes sound amazing right now.

Grayson or Roswell, eh? Both great programs with 2 fine head coaches.

I don't use international security because i get pre check through Globial Entry program, but nice idea there.

Good luck on your trip!

A couple of beers for the "gentlemen" while watching our fantasy football teams in serious jeopardy. I'm actually playing against my wife in the semi-finals. It's projected to be a tight one as I have Kirk Cousins and Jordan Reed tomorrow night, but she has Desean Jackson and Pierre Garçon. I don't like my odds. At least I beat her in the championship last year.
