This is only as good as the service. Case in point: I just got back from a stay at Palazzo. Wednesday night I couldn't get a cocktail delivered at the slots to save my life. Tried several different machines. Never got a one. Thursday night, OTOH, service was damn near instantaneous. I'd punch in an order and before I knew it it was in my hand. I don't think I waited more than 2 minutes for a drink all night.

This is absolutely correct. I think table players receive more drinks because the CW has to cover less area. CW that are assigned to slots have a larger area to cover, leading to slower drink times.

If I want drinks while I play VP, I tip the CW well and make nice conversation when I order my first drink, not hitting on her. They seem to come back faster. I have even received a few winks due to my tips. I usually play at the same 2-3 casinos and have met a few CW that remember me. When I see them again, they are back instantly. I'm almost tempted to ask for their numbers, but I try to keep it professional.
