They reduced all the pay tables on video poker the other day, at least on the casino floor. Good-bye DTG.

That place needs a daily VP weather report! Pay tables change more than the weather there!

Thanks for reporting, you probably saved a few people from wasting time to go there to play!

Sounds like when DTG opened. The word of mouth was VP had good pay tables, then when people on this Board were interested, VP got gutted.

The time or two I played there the pay was good for quarters, but not so for higher denominations.

Thanks for the report, @Don the Dentist. I played at Furnace Bar for quarters the last week of October on some great pay tables. Too bad that they're gone.

I wonder if they are returning the points back to what they were previously.

Considering the best game in the house looks the same on Vital Vegas... what game(s) got downgraded and to what level?

It's about the 3 month point. I wouldn't be shocked if they pulled the plug soon.

They even adjusted the points for VP again. It was $2 = 1 point, then no points for VP, then $10 = 1 point, now this depending on game:

    https://www.downtowngrand.com/offer/welcome-to-grand-rewards/

$2 coin-in on Video Poker Machines = 1 point for games with under 100% payback or $10 coin-in on Video Poker Machines = 1 point for games with over 100% payback.

    Well that's totally fair, imo.

So at least not ALL the great games are gone. This is what they should have done to begin with, imo.

Curious what you mean by this?

It's always surprising to me how often we have notice here that The Downtown Grand changed their pay tables. It's been a constant since they opened.

I looked at DTG paytables today since I was downtown anyway. Yes, there are a lot of downgrades. I'll send an update with all details to vpfree2.com as soon as I can.

    Still there:

10/6/50 DDB - 25c 2 way progressive at the bar

    10/7 DB and 10/6/50 DDB - 5c, 10c, 25c 3/5 Play and 5c, 10c 10 Play on two 3/5/10 Play machines outside restrooms

    8/5 BP, 9/7 DB, 9/6 DDB - 25c, 50c, $1, $2 1 Play at the bar and on the floor

10/6/40 DDB and 9/7 DB - 5c, 10c, 25c 3/5 Play and 5c, 10c 10 Play and 25c Spin Poker on the Super Star Poker machines at the bar and on the floor

9/6 DDB - 5c, 10c, 25c 3 Play and 5c, 10c 5 Play Super Times Pay on the Super Star Poker machines at the bar and on the floor

Gone are all APDW, 9/6 BDlx, 9/7 TDB, 9-4-4 BDW. No info on Ultimate X so far.

Given that, for comps' sake, would you all play 9/6 DDB versus 10/6 DDB?

Unless DTGs comping behavior has changed vs. the past, absolutely 10/6 with the progressives. The Royal is usually good.
