Which downtown casinos are best for comp'd drink doubles? I know generous tipping can work wonders. And if I'm paying full price for my drinks at the bar I can get triples, quadruples, or any amount but I was curious as to which downtown casinos allows double drinks on comps. I ask because while I was playing keno at the bar at Downtown Grand this past Sunday night a guy who was sitting next to me and playing a machine as well asked the bartender for a double but was declined. Maybe the guy didn't tip well so the bartender refused his request. Or maybe the guy wasn't playing enough for a comp'd drink. I'm not sure what the reason was for the declined double request but maybe on comp'd drinks only a single can be ordered at a time. Any advice on how to get a comp'd drink double?

Not sure if it is the same in Vegas but at Harrahs in Bossier City they cannot make doubles but if you tip they will make you a drink and give you an extra shot in a separate cup.

I always ask for a double rum and coke on the strip and downtown... about 70 percent successful.. some casinos won't allow it.. though tips can go a long way..

I would suppose that doubles aren't allowed following the letter of the law. That being said, I'm sure if you're tipping well you'll get the double or a shot on the side. I rarely drink while I play, but one place I have is Chicago Brewing in the 4Qs. They served doubles from the getgo. This occurred on different days and with different BTs, so I guess it's SOP.

Good Luck!
