Went one year and felt like a “peeper” — :pthink @Richard Alpert —- as we weren’t dressed up and we were JUST Mr and Ms Kitty. THE wristband was of little use. :wiggle:
    It was a bummer.
We were lumped in with the baby-stroller-pushers….…..and people that belonged in a circle. o_O It was awful.
So this year (we had to work around and consider the fact masks will probably still be required) we plan to redeem ourselves by dressing AS Mr & Ms Kitty complete with rabies vaccination tags and little mice that are gonna play while we’re away anyways so we’re bringing them to play it cool.
    Downtown.
    In las vegas. (they’re excited!!).
    That’s it.
No formal meeting place as of yet other than repeatedly
    (line up for your turn)
saying “No” to the guy on the corner (will post which when we find his location) doing the psssssst…hey buddy, you look depressed; come here, let me help you out as he opens his London fog trench coat…. But thanks. Always a crowd pleaser. :kill:
So who’s going to be there and who’s going to be awkward :nono: (you could always wear your vmb wristband as a costume and claim to be @Sonya). Who’d possibly know? :poker:
I am familiar with several travel itineraries but will leave that up for their agents and producers of those members  to release as is appropriate as well as the soon to be released dates selected by the Secretary of :beer:Agriculture and Poultry for upcoming hearings on Capitol Hill. (No one does hearing on holidays….especially Sunday….). :poke: But who avoids a federal subpoena to be at Fremont ?
    stay tuned …. :hmmm:
Unless it’s an open / shut case. :wink2: Then that’s different.
Please don’t be snarky… and hopefully pictures of members and the other also-rans that show up that night……

    Tirement party over again…..poor thing.

He said this young lady has been stalking him. You can see the love in her eyes.

Ty’s pic reminds me of that wonderful 70’s song Ray Steven’s The Streak- don’t look Ethel….but it was too late. Enquiring minds want to know what’s on the backside? Floss? Costume suggestions? I’ll have to dig out my Cupid photo I took in Vegas. I was trying to enjoy a wonderful Ruth Chris steak the window looked out towards the Linq - Back when it was still Imperial Palace. Cupid was wearing Red satin speedos and little heart pasties. No one would mistake him for a Thunder Down Under dancer. Elvis was with him too— now there’s a costume.

More costume ideas. I forgot it was Alan from Bachelor Party that was Cupid’s sidekick. Later Elvis showed up. Notice the scooter transportation in the background.

Last year on Halloween it was packed, shoulder to shoulder walking through fremont street under the canopy on halloween. Just a heads up, will feel like you are walking through a crowd. Now that there are no capacity limits, probably will be even more crowded. Masks were also required last year on Halloween too. Only difference from last year to this year is this year no capacity limit. Just emailed my host for rooms at the Golden Nugget, waiting to hear back. Finally my family decided on what we want to do for our next trip. Now waiting and hoping the golden nugget is not booked up or will try a different hotel. I wanted to reserve earlier but my parents kept becoming unsure of when they want to go. Also my moms birthday is on oct 30th, the date we want to get there. My dad does not want to stay uptown, but I do have the option of booking uptown if needed, but will worry about that after I hear back from my host if needed.

Uh, not to be a Debbie Downer here, but ... ...

    Can you say "Superspreader"?

No {f-bomb}ing way I would be there this year!

I'll be avoiding people by either staying in the casino or my room. I wouldn't go out there regardless of Covid. I don't like congested foot traffic.

In general, I love crowds! However, downtown will be a total petri dish this year!

There was no superspreader last year, just tough to get through the crowd and I forgot to mention...there were HUGE lines inside and outside of binions of people waiting to get on Fremont street! My mom and I went through binions to get back to the cal where we were staying at sometime during night time and we were walking passed the lines. I dont remember exact time, I think 9pm or 10pm. There were security around watching the traffic. I do not know of they are doing that this year or not because capacity restrictions were gone. Not sure what time the lines started either because we were playing in the golden nugget for a few hours before the traffic started.

The good news is, our group is fully vaccinated and majority of everyone going to vegas now a days should be fully vaccinated too, nothing to worry about. Have to live life, not in fear. :)

It will probably be twice as many people as last year. I also need to get to party city to find a costume. I want something simple, find a Halloween facemask, hat, and match clothing with it. I want to have some fun. Did not dress up last year.

I’ll wave semi long distance towards you and wish you a hoppy VMB halloween; it’s dinner at Bavette’s for us and back to Mirage to slot all night. We’ve done the costume Halloween parties at Mirage, Bellagio and V/P but have retired from the fun life.

We’re counting on you to keep ms kitty and poor mice somewhere safe - nothing is sacred on halloween in Vegas on Fremont...
