This is a great game that used to be at the Cromwell, and Venetian tried it for a time. I know Mohegan Sun in CT and Hard Rock in Hollywood, FL have it. But I live in California, so I'm dying for it to make another Vegas appearance. If anyone sees it pop up, please post!

For those unfamiliar with it, it's basically draw poker with two jokers that act the same as the joker in Pai Gow poker. You get 5 cards, and on the first draw you can take up to 3 cards. Then there's a second draw where you can take 1 card. You need to make 2 pair to win. It's very addictive -- lots of cards to squeeze. I think players haven't flocked to it in Vegas because the main bet only ever plays even money. There's a bonus bet that pays up to 500-1 for 5 aces, but most of the time it only pays 5-1 or less. And correct strategy is very difficult, which is part of what makes it fun (what do you do when you're dealt Joker-Ace-4h-5c-7c?)

Interesting. Do you happen to recall which casino? I have been looking for this game too.

    Here's a pretty good simulator...
Clearly, this game's basic strategy would need to be learned... lot of variables...
e.g. - keep a pair over 3 to straight? Bust a pair if you have 2 to a royal?

OK.. tring? Anyone else have a good understanding of this game?
I need to know whether or not to keep a pair over a two-card connected SF... also, because of the jokers, should I always keep the ace kicker when I have a pair?
I have no problem with the second draw decisions... but there seems to be quite a few 'more-difficult' calls for the first draw... clearly, one should NOT play this like a VP machine...or like UTH...or any normal poker game...
The jokers really change the value of potential straights & flushes, as well as the value of an ace.
    Anyone?

I think it's dying game, if not already dead.
After the trial in Vegas and A/C for a few months, it disappeared.

Nope...It wasn't there 5/12 through 5/16, but I did not go into DTG... so, it's possible they have it, but I doubt it.

I highly doubt it. This game never got traction in Vegas. Sizable optimal house edge for a game with a fairly complex strategy. People probably lost too much. I bet if they changed the bonus paytable to make the game a <1% edge on the ante, the house would still clean up due to errors.
