Few comedians have the longevity in Vegas that Rickles does. He first headlined at the Sahara in the late 50's.

I saw him a couple years ago at Golden nugget, I believe it was.
I swear, the guy wants to die on stage --
I really believe that's the way he wants to go
    and nothing wrong with that.
But several times after dropping his Mic ( for effect )
he could barely pick it up.
    After the show -
I walk to backstage and asked to see him.
Stupid staff guy was not friendly and acted like he was
    guarding the President.
He said, "He's not seeing anyone." gruffly
As a couple strolled by me to inside.
I said to the jerk -
"Is that YOUR policy.....or Mr. Rickles policy ?"
    I didn't wait for his answer -
    I turned away w/ a nice "jaggoff !" comment.

You can't believe how many performers I've met this simple way.

I saw the billboard for him as I was leaving on Friday... at the O'rlean's... I'd love to see him, I used to think he was so funny watchin' him as a kid with my Dad...

Saw him 3-4 years ago in the midwest, absolutely hilarious. He was suppose to return next month but his shows are postponed. He has some kind of leg infection and can't fly for 6-8 weeks.

Saw him four years ago at the River Cree. He was not doing well at all. He seemed confused and disoriented, and it was a bit depressing. Has he really improved since then or are people's sentimentality skewing the reviews.

Saw him Oct 2005 at the Stardust. He was great. Lots of old stories. Very enjoyable. It was a 'see-him-before-he-dies' thing -- who knew he would live this long!

A year after that we saw Tim Conway and Harvey Korman at the Stardust. They were great, too. I'm very glad we saw them since Harvey Korman did pass away less than 2 years later.

We saw him in Oct 2009 at Orleans. I could have done without the singing portion of his act, but the comedy was great.

Also saw him sometime back in the late 80s. Amazing he just keeps going on.

I am not going to say how old I am but I saw him in 1974 when I was in Vegas. I remember our little group sitting front row center stage for the show. He had quite the show. We were shocked at how colorful he was. We were beet red for most of his performance. He was appearing with Tote Fields back then. We did have a good time and it was one show we never forgot.

We also saw Don in October 2005. October 23rd actually ...our wedding day. Got hitched in the afternoon, had dinner and then caught the show. Not quite the romantic day my wife had envisioned I'm sure, but we really enjoyed seeing him.Our first and last time at the Stardust
