I'm hoping to tap the collective wisdom of the VMB community here, you guys have never steered me wrong before!

We are considering getting a VPN service. It just seems more secure. Plus, we're headed to Mexico and want to take our Fire Stick with us but still be able to access our US based subscription services.

We're pretty technologically challenged and these are the ONLY times we regret not having children!

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers,
    Kelly

I've been using NordVPN for several years on all of my computers, as well as on my iPhone and iPad. It's easy to setup and they have more VPN servers around the world than most of their competition. They are also based outside the US, so they aren't subject to US laws regarding storing users logs which is a concern for some users.

I would also be careful of the free VPN services, since some of them don't protect your data and are not very secure. Some are also funded via advertisements which can be problematic too.

IP Vanish. You can use various locations as your home.

I use Cisco because it's a work VPN - no choice for me, but also no cost....

Use this one as well; they often run sales where you get 3 yrs for a low price

I'll say, when originally decided on which VPN to get I was cautious going with PIA, simply because it's the biggest and most popular. I thought I may need one more "underground" for privacy purposes. It's been 3 or 4 years now and I'm yet to get a nasty letter telling me I shouldn't have been BitTorrenting that.
