Just wanted to know your thoughts on redemption. Do you think it's best to redeem during the trip or before you get there?

    We leave October, 10th...

    Thanks

I'm assuming you are talking about purchasing the rewards in the game with your gold LP coins?? If so, you NEED to do this before you get to Vegas. The rewards that you see in Vegas is very limited because most can't be used by locals. Buy as many as you can afford to right now and decide in Vegas which ones you will actually use. When you get back refund the ones that didn't get used.

.Sorry about omitting info. I'm at work trying to do 5 things at once:confused:

That said, yes I'm speaking of LPs. After reading your reply I'll definitely start purchasing the rewards I want to use immediately.

    Thanks

Yes, purchase before your trip or be disappointed in the selection available while in town. Especially MGM room or show rewards. Purchasing them the earlier the better since you have to book them ahead of time.

Also, if you aren't sure if you want to try this buffet or that drink reward etc, you can get a few extra and refund them when you return if you don't use them.

Ok, so I have many many many rewards in my wallet at this time...

That said, although I know I can't redeem all the rewards, I'll take comfort in knowing they're accessible if I change my mind on which one to redeem.

Make sure you don't have too many rewards that you hit the maximum for cancellation before they expire.

"For rewards that offer a self-cancel option, you can cancel up to 5 rewards in 30 days.
If your reward does not allow self-cancellation, or you need assistance canceling a reward, please forward your reward code(s) to our support team"

also make sure you have the emails with the codes, or the codes themselves. you do not want to open any of the phone apps while in Vegas

when you start the my vegas apps, they check your location. Some rewards are limited to non Vegas residents and those located outside of Vegas, so some rewards might no longer be available to you. people have reported being shut out of those rewards even after returning home. eventually that gets fixed by contacting customer service, but why have the hassle

Personally, I've never had this problem, but it can happen.
Still, never stops me from collecting my daily bonuses or having it at the ready in case the Players Club desk needs my confirmation code from the app.

I suppose this could happen, but the rewards that I've purchased at home have always been in my Rewards Wallet when I got to the M Life desk to redeem.

Will also echo this statement. I've redeemed rewards on about a dozen trips now. Lately, at least for the Mlife rewards I've used, I haven't even needed to provide the redemption code. I just hand them my Mlife card and license.
