Casino status means zero to me, not impressed. Just means someone spent hours playing casino carnival games. Now airline status that is something worth having.

The guys that roll up to the craps table with a huge roll of money, held in elastic bands, 100 on the outside, 1’s and 5’s on the inside.

Uber/cab drivers with a bunch of INCORRECT “facts” or Vegas trivia you’re forced to listen to for the entire ride... and they just assume you’ve never been to Vegas and know nothing about it.

More like wince than eye roll, but...

People who lack basic courtesy. It's a long list.

Girls wearing high heels who simply cannot walk in them. Painful to watch.

People who beat the hell out of the slot button because they're losing.

    The self important.

People who provide unsolicited advice on VP that's absolutely incorrect.

I'm like, listen, if I wanted advice, I'd ask. Second, even if you do offer advice, it better be correct. Also, do they even know what game I'm playing?

I try to be understanding of these things while in Vegas. I try to understand that people are caught up in the excitement and are just having fun and enjoying themselves.

Everything mentioned so far in this thread I agree with and have rolled my eyes on these happenings, at one time or another.

Sometimes my eyes are rolling so much that I go cock-eyed for a minute or two.:poke:

I forgot the security guard that tells you not to photograph the slot machines. Dude, I want to capture this moment, why's taking a picture of a slot so bad....

I see this on every trip to Vegas. Not so bad if it is done quietly and as discreetly as possible so as to not distract the other players, but when they go on a "college lecture" and talk loudly as you mentioned, then it really becomes an eye-rolling moment!

I’ve shared plenty of eye rolls with blackjack dealers. Seems like it’s always the loudest most obnoxious “experts” who make the dumbest plays....

Definitely goes both ways. I enjoy showing Vegas Virgins around and had one incident where I was explaining the game and said *THAT NUMBER*, not very loudly, but the lady next to me lost it. “Did you say 7?!” *turns to yell to the rest of the table* “this guy said 7!”

Other folks: Oh no! Every time someone says 7, I end up losing!

Half of them left the table, one guy asked me to leave and I assure you we weren’t being loud. He wouldn’t have known had the lady not announced it.

It was the craziest superstitious behavior I’ve seen at a casino (minus the people who rub slot screens in “special ways”).

Like when someone makes the wrong play in blackjack, I know that wrong play is equally likely to be the reason I win the next hand or why I lose it. It has no impact over the long run, so I don’t mind it. It only becomes an eye roll for me if that person is also coaching others.

Like the gent who got mad at me for doubling or hitting on Soft 18 when called for. “There’s no such thing as a soft 18!” lol

My friend complaining to me that he's blown his whole bankroll 3 days into an 8 day trip while playing 3-card poker drunk. "I've gotta learn this video poker game you keep playing"...:rolleyes2:

To be fair my wife and I blew half of our trip
Bankroll before our room was even ready at the Wynn. Shortly after getting our room the rest was gone. We complained a lot and we were sober at the time. Eventually we gave in and went to the atm and just played at Caesars and spent a lot of time in the diamond lounge drowning our sorrows.

Groups of people who get to the top or bottom of an escalator and then abruptly STOP!

Groups of people who insist on walking slowly, abreast, taking up all of the space on any thoroughfare.

People who stop to take photos of each other and assume the only pose is directly ACROSS a busy thoroughfare! Worse, do-gooders who attempt to stop traffic to let the offenders take the shots.

To elaborate on the above, its when they have a bunch of TITOs and they do them one transaction at a time instead of adding all of them into one payout...

People that complain about smoking! We were at On The Record and some guy that bought a table was complaining that people were smoking near his table. He loudly announced that he PAID FOR A TABLE. Dude, it's Vegas! You're money doesn't stop smoking. :haha:
