After a couple of years absence I'm heading back to Vegas. Previously if events were held in any mgm property arena you could take your ticket to an mlife desk and get tier credits for the value of the tickets.

Does this apply to events are tmobile arena? Hoping so because the arena is co-owned by mgm resorts. If so how do you show mlife if all tickets are digital only?

Going to try it regardless just wondering if anyone else as tried previously.

The real question though... does a few thousand tier credits mean anything?

Are they worth even bothering with?

Depends on how much you spent maybe, but then again even going up tiers in Mlife does not do much. I've been platinum for a few years and nothing is really that different from when i was gold, offers are play dependent. I could see maybe if resort fees were eliminated for platinum members but that will never happen, lol

Could be, because mLife gives 25X TC for purchases in Las Vegas.

I have a friend that made Platinum mLife just on ticket purchases for friends coming in from out of town.

Unless it's something you can charge to your room from T-mobile, I don't think it's possible to get credit for those purchases.

Not much really. I got bumped up off a group Aria cabana rental that I charged to my room a few years back and didn't see any noticeable difference in offers.

My sense is that you only get TCs for "permanent" shows that are in MGM hotels.

I had an MLife desk agent tell me once that you don't get TCs for tickets purchased through Ticketmaster, but I don't think that's exactly true either, because for some of their permanent shows, the link on the MLife page redirects to Ticketmaster. I bought Terry Fator tickets that way and they ended up giving me tier credits. They might have made an exception and just thrown me the TCs, I dunno.

I've had it work all kinds of ways over the years with shows like Carrot Top and Terry Fator and Cirque. Sometimes I've gotten the TCs as soon as I made the purchase online, and sometimes I've had to go to the MLife desk after the show with the receipt and tickets.
