I heard "The Promise" by When in Rome while in Vegas. I think I randomly heard it while walking through the cosmo after meeting a cool chick. Now the song is stuck in my head. Do you ever get songs from your Vegas trip stuck in your head?

Yes. Last trip I was walking through the Wynn and I heard this come on. I'd heard it before on a previous trip and must have missed it when it first came out and got popular. Now it's an ear worm. It's got a bit of a MJ vibe and very uplifting..... to me.

Yeah a couple years ago the song "Informer" by Snow came on satellite radio in the rental car as we pulled out of the lot. It came on at least 2 more times during that trip.

Last year for Spring Break in Vegas we kept hearing My House by flo rida a lot. My son started mentioning it every time we heard it inside a casino. We would laugh and say not this song again. Now every time I hear that song takes me back to Vegas. Can't wait to see what our Vegas song will be in a couple of weeks!!

Have had many of those, never from Vegas. The scary thing for me it is usually children's songs or nap music (wife and I own three child care centers). Songs from Kenny Logins Pooh Corner CD get in my head and it is not a good thing.

Yes. A couple years ago playing roulette at Aria and our dealer starts to sing "Are we human or are we Dancer"? That's become an ongoing Vegas song for the gf and I.

Years ago, Bill Simmons (when he was still with ESPN) did a running Vegas trip report and mentioned the number of times he heard "Somebody" by Kings of Leon over the course of one weekend.

The tune itself doesn't get stuck in my head, but every time I do hear that in a casino, I immediatley think of that trip report he did.

I wondered if your croupier was foreign with that quote, but apparently that's the actual lyric. [emoji5]

"Let Me Love You" by DJ Snake reminds me of the Cosmo pool. They played it a few times there in September.

"Clarity" by Zedd makes me think of Vegas too. I think on one of our trips it was played constantly.

And of course "Viva Las Vegas", the song my gf woke up to at 5am from the unopened at the time bazaar shops while staying in the Jubilee tower. I was fortunately either still gambling or drunk enough to sleep through it. [emoji48] I did hear about it several times from her after the fact though and now it's a running joke.

He was an Asian guy but from so cal I think. He had a deep George Takei type of voice as well. Very jovial and would make jokes about his wife and ex wife. He would also try to order drinks from the waitress. Sometimes they wouldn't notice and say "sure" and then they realized it was the dealer. Never seen him again. He made it really fun to play there.

On a separate note, I am so buying the CD that has the background music they play at the Mandarin Oriental. Very zen and mindful.

On my recent trip to Vegas (Super Bowl weekend), I was at a craps table somewhere downtown, and The Cure's "Just Like Heaven" was played. During the same trip, I heard it again at another casino on the strip.

Last weekend, I was at the Tropicana in AC, playing craps with my brother in law, and guess what song comes on?

Actually yes - one year we kept hearing "Umbrella" by Rihanna and another year it was "All I Do Is Win" by DJ Khaled et al.

Last year every time we went somewhere in the rental car the same song would come on. Yeah, it kinda became a trip theme song.

I can specifically remember "Cry" by Faith Hill, "Why Don't You and I Get Together" by Carlos Santana, and "You Know You Like It" (that "dup-dup" song) all being ridiculously overplayed on various Vegas trips over the years, and all turned into nasty earworms for me.

Not exactly the same thing but when I have a trip coming up, I get "Viva Las Vegas" stuck in my head for the days leading up to our flight. My wife gets mad because I blast it non-stop throughout the day before we leave.

I also instantly associate certain albums with specific Vegas trips because I often have a rental car when I'm there and will blast an album while cruising around the area. I did this with a Cheap Trick album on a trip with my uncle because he brought it with him; now I can't hear any Cheap Trick without thinking of how fun it was cruising around with him blasting that music in my favorite vacation city.

Think I heard that Honey I'm good song about 74 times in 4 days at every casino. That one was stuck in my head for awhile.
