Do we need to book hotel to attend Mlife Holiday Gift Shoppe, Grazie Gifts?

It is strange that I have never gotten around to book during the 2 shopping events. So do we (wife as well with her own mlife and grazie accounts) have to book hotel stays during the days we attend the respective shopping events? Like the days we plan to cash in if we have to have room reservations at each hotel. Thank you all!

 

I am going to both in December .and am booking hotel rooms at MGM Grand only because it is a condition of myVEGAS HGS point redemption. I'm also booking at Caesars because it's my home property.

HOWEVER, no stay is required for either.

 

I won't make it to the Grazie gifts event and wish there was a way to give someone my points. They could get a nice amount of gift cards and it's all going to waste! I usually go around Thanksgiving but have to go first week of November this year.

 

DaiLun, have you received info about the HGS Point redemption through MyVegas? Just curious.

 

I intend on going on 11/25. Can I continue to earn Grazie gift points all the way until the last day, 27th? Same question applies for the Mlife HGS 12/1-4. Can I earn HGS points during that week right up to the last day, 12/4? Will converted free play be available immediately? Thank you!

 

For GGE, Grazie Gift Points expire on 11/27/2016

According to the mLife HGS site,

"Eligible M life Rewards members receive one (1) Holiday Gift Shoppe Point (Gift Point) for every one (1) M life Rewards point earned between 12:01 AM on January 1, 2016 to the conclusion of the 2016 Holiday Gift Shoppe event at 11:59 PM PDT on Sunday, December 4, 2016 plus any Gift Points earned during Holiday Gift Shoppe Bonus points promotions during the same period."

However, I don't believe that the Gift event sites are open until midnight.

 

Thank you. So when you convert/purchase free play during either events, will the free play be available immediately to use?
