Do the CET casinos in AC work the same as Vegas for play?

I'm trying to plan a trip to AC in April, but they may only give me a room at Bally's instead of Caesars on the Boardwalk. (We want to be on the Boardwalk to have easy access to shopping and clubs.) Does CET do the same thing in AC like Vegas where they don't really care where you play as long as its their casinos? Like could I play at the Caesars casino while staying at Bally's and not burn them for the comp room? I really would prefer to play over there instead.

Bally's is also on the Boardwalk... maybe next door to Caesars I think.

I worded that poorly. I meant to say that we would only stay at Bally's or Caesars because we want to be on the Boardwalk. I'm trying to figure out if I can stay at Bally's -- since that may be the only place on the Boardwalk that will comp the room -- and play at Caesars, because I prefer their casino.

I stayed at Caesars last time and played at Bally's. The room comps are the same for me for all 3 TR properties. The FP and resort credit that I get now is only for Bally's. I used to get FP offers from Caesars earlier. Since I moved to Bally's for my play, I no longer get them from Caesars.

Doesn't matter as long as you play at a CET property. You will get offers everywhere, but not necessarily equal offers at all CET casinos.

Just like in vegas all of your CET play will get lumped together. If you are staying at bally's, and that comes with free play, you can only use that at bally's. All of my AC offers are the exact same.

All are 3 nights + $25 in free play (which is very weak). Even for properties I do not visit like Harrah's in the Marina Dist. No issues staying at B and playing at C. They actually make it very easy to do so since Caesars, Wild Wild West & Ballys are all connected internally.

The FP offers in AC for CZR properties are abysmal lol. I put 2k tier credits through the slots in a single day and got maybe $50 in return rewards. I do enjoy gambling in AC though...feel like I do a lot better in terms of winning $$

spdandpwr is spot on. My play at Borgata in AC earns me 4 times as much in free play on a bounce back offer plus the points you earn that you can turn into free play or food come twice as fast. I havent stayed/played with CET in AC in over 2 years now. Trop/Borg for me!

Thanks for the info. My host ended up only being able to book me at Bally's so I will just go next door to Caesars to play. I hope the Bally's Tower Premium room isn't too bad. I wanted a Jubilee room, but maybe they will give me one at check-in.
