Do Marquee Rewards Online Slots do anything?

I was at a casino tied to Marquee Rewards and since I'm all about casinos knowing what a degenerate I am, I signed up for their program. They started trying to sell me on their online slots which I was hoping would be similar to MyVegas. However, reading through the material it doesn't seem like playing the slots actually does anything, and only buying virtual chips earns you tier credits. Is this correct?
 
That's my understanding. I only fool with it occasionally because they have a decent selection of WMS and Bally's slots online.
