Exactly. There are all kinds of regulations.

biggest one that is flaunted is smoking in public. Folks easily get away with that.

Opening a store against regulations - not going to happen other than "black market".

I just remembered this from August.

Over at the shops at Planet Ho, there was a CBD shop, and one of the salespeople was standing just outside trying to draw in some business. Almost kinda like the lotion ladies over at Flamingo and Bally's, but not as obnoxious.

They would not be able to do that with the Real Stuff (tm).

Those pictures show that it is not like any dispensary that I have been at and must only sell CBD products.
I am sure the law is the same in Nevada as it is here in Illinois, they have to scan an ID to verify age and record a visit and it must be controlled access (i.e locked door) to the actual dispensary. You can only visit one dispensary in a 24 hour period here and I am sure it is the same there in LV

No. There's a daily possession limit but that has nothing to do with how many dispensaries you want to visit.

Not sure if that is a rule or not.

In Illinois you can visit as many as you want... been there, done that. Only once at the SAME place maybe.

Wow, I've been trying to look up the place, and I think I may be wrong, and fooled by the revamping/remodel, and
you guys are right, it likely is CBD products only,
    but wow:eek: , if so it's quite convincing/misleading...

I don't know how they are selling CBD only flower, (TIL - super low THC hemp bred all CBD buds are a thing now), but I did see this vape in there, and it does seem to be CBD only..

wow, feeling :eek: about my error.
    my apologies for the misinformation.

LOL, I would think that it would be very obvious due to the lack of effect when imbibing!

Yea... but that would be hours AFTER you bought the stuff. Money wasted. (and you are not wasted)

Also, and I'm totally guessing here, but I'd think most tourists in Vegas who go to a dispensary might also be imbibing in alcohol - it can be difficult to separate effects of alcohol from effects of THC if you're not using both regularly. And different THC strains have different effects anyway....Can totally see some people are misled because they didn't do their homework or pay attention or know what they're buying.....

And theoretically, they're not even supposed to be selling CBD there, but there's some real estate trickery involved that lets them get away with it -- casino licensees cannot trade in CBD, at all, but Miracle Mile is technically (very technically, to the point where NGCB isn't pleased about it) not on licensed premises.

All I know is that it smelled way more of MJ on Fremont my last trip (Sep 29 - Oct 4) than on previous trips… if that recently-opened shop is just doing CBD they’re doing a good job of “salesmanship”:haha: (also worth noting: whatever people were smoking, and wherever it was coming from, it was some schwag-ass stuff :yuck::whistle::evillaugh:)

they really went all out and gussied it up in the style of a "real" shop, compared to whatever that old souvenir shop was w. just the CBD counter.
