    No way?!

What dispensary? We normally order one off amazon and collect at the linq locker. No point in doing that if there are decent ones in the dispensary.

    Cheers

I believe disposable (and non) vape pens are standard at most dispensaries. You can check out menus for most online as well.

Ask for the "vegas stick" brand. 300 hits disposable vape stick for about 45 bucks. Nice aroma, different cannabis types, very potent.

They sell regular units that charge up with USB for $30-$50. Cartridge with oil are $45-$55 if I remember right. Very discreet. Puff just about anywhere. Found them at both dispensary's we visited.

And then took them home. Just put in our carryon. No problems.

I find most of the vape pens do have a slight odor, but mostly it's a powerful smell of the "flavor", ie blueberry, bubble gum, etc. It's certainly not comparable to the smell of the smoking of the flower. I've seen plenty of the vape pens in and around the casino floor, but it's still not legal to use on casino property.

Vegas Stick is a great choice. NUWU Market Place is an awesome shop, largest in the country. Budtenders are really helpful. Try the Purple Train Wreck. Do not puff in a no smoking room in any resort. We puffed on the casino floor with vape pin no problem.

I would have inquired but I thought it to be just one of "those fragarences" all the young chicks were wearing. However the bubble gum odor didn't take away from the steak dinner so I let it pass.

I have to wonder what you were on, given you think I'm a "young chick". :wink2:

True BUT who can tell the difference between "legal" vape pens and "not legal" vape pens. I partaked a couple of months ago at the bubble craps machine and in the middle of the forum shops. Nobody even noticed or would otherwise. As for the bubble craps machine, there were several other people who broke out their vape pens when I did mine and since smoking cigarettes is still allowed, believe me, NOBODY noticed or would ever notice. The smell of cigarettes overpowers every other smell in the casino. Some of the vape pens from other people did not look like pens at all but cartridges with a battery attached.

So you can order cannabis vape pens on Amazon now? Or are you talking about non-cannabis vape pens from Amazon?

    Huh?

I was talking about the couple between the door and our table. The cuddly young couple. That smelled like bubble gum.

You told me you were old. We just never got to specifics. “I” was on your left.

True on the vape pen/cartridge odor. Most are pretty "scented" and don't put off much of any cannabis odor. However.......

I find that many of the best quality cartridges in particular - where the top shelf oils tend to show up - put off significant cannabis odor. Some of these I get come in a plastic cylinder, and when I open that cylinder I know I'm holding some really quality product. It definitely smells, even when not ever used. And it smells when used.

Point being, don't assume. While these more smelly carts aren't likely to be of any issue out of doors, I find that some like to use these in hotel rooms or other enclosed spaces, and they don't realize what's happening. That is until the guy who hasn't been sitting in the room vaping walks in and says "Hmmmmm......smells really good in here":D If that's your housekeeper in Vegas, you well might be ponying up $250-500 for the privilege. Some of these carts can confuse the user, making them think those don't smell like.....but they sometimes do to someone not partaking.

Might ask your budtender if it's an issue, and most definitely think twice before consuming on a casino floor. That would be the last place I would consume cannabis, for the simple reason that if there's any place where the law will be enforced, it's the casino floor. The criminal penalty might be minimal - but the loss of the room and an anticipated banning from the property would be more than I would want to pay. I suspect the casino personnel would be rougher on me in that case than even Las Vegas would be....

Since you are using flower to vape with the Magic Box it still emits a slight weed odor. Would be fine to use in the room but not on the casino floor..

The vape pen is used with cartridges that are filled with “juice” that emits a slight odor that doesn’t smell like weed.

I've hit a vape pen numerous times at the tables, no issues whatsoever.

Correct me if I am wrong but I thought I read that vape pens really are no comparison to smoking the real thing. Basically that you don't really get very high with them. Thoughts?

The levels of THC for the oil in the vape pens are routinely over 50% I've seen some as high as 67%. The highest numbers that I've seen for flower are around 25%. This is why they are called "concentrates".
