Disappointing first mailer from Palace Station

In December, my brother and I played an afternoon at Palace Station because it sounded like our kind of place and because of the comps others have gotten for little play. This was my first visit to a Station Casino except for an evening at The Palms in 2015 long before it was sold. The PS player's club already had my information from the Palms DB when I got a card.

I did about $3k coin in on slots and about $1k on VP and verified the total on their website. I liked the joint and actually left $200 up after about 4 hours of play. It's a dump, but it was fun. I was impressed with the Fair gambling, machine selection, and multiple dining options.

So I've been giddy as a school girl waiting to see what kind of sweet teaser offer they were gonna send me. Today, it finally arrived in the mail, and the offers were so much more than I could ever hope for, room rates from $20.99 and $10 off a $20 tab at Little Tony's! What a joke. I wasn't expecting full RFB, but I was expecting a couple of free nights and at least $50 in free vittles or free play.

So if someone is looking to seed PS for some good offers, just take this instance into account when seeing the generous offers other have gotten.

For some reason, South Point won't acknowledge me either. I played over $5k coin in over 3-4 hours in April 2015 and $5k over about the same time frame in December 2016, prob half slots and half VP both times. I even signed up for emails on their website.....Not a peep ever from them.

I get good room, food, and fp offers from El Cortez, Suncoast, MSS, The D, and Golden Gate, so I guess I'll just stick with them, but I always like to try to seed new places. Maybe I'll try TI next. Any other suggestions?

From reading the boards, in the past year, It seems like many properties have scaled back free play, free rooms and other promotions that they traditionally used to do. I go to Vegas often and gamble a pretty decent amount, Not a whale or even close but i too have noticed that promotions have been getting less and less compared to recent history. I used to get free rooms from everyone two years ago. Now only downtown resorts will give me free room offers in the mail. Luckily CET gives me free rooms anytime I want literally nationwide but im starting to wonder how long that will last.

Op i think the reason you didn't get a comp at Palace was you won. Stations hates winners. Have u won at other places that don't send mailers?

I use to get so many mailers from them for years. The incompetent host Toni from palace flagged me in the system for taking too many comps. Meanwhile I've lost over $60,000 in the past 8 years

Oddly enough I was just watching a current You Tube video from VegasLowRoller (He has a channel). He lives in Vegas and plays all the time and he stated in his opinion the worst casinos for comps etc was Southpoint and Stations! Kinda what you discovered on your own!

I typically play about $3k slot coin in, a little red chip blackjack, and $2k VP one day per trip at the D and get 4 free nights, $50 in FP, $30 in vittles, and $25 in match play. At GG I prob do about $1k coin in one day per trip and get 2 or 3 free nights, $10 FP, and $20 in vittles. I hope you have better luck in your future trips there.

You're lucky . I lost 120k two years ago at one casino.

Stations dropped me off their list years ago. I used to frequent gvr and palace station. They dropped me off of their list after a low play visit to red rock. I may go back as i did have good luck at palace station. Southpoint is the worst place for comps. I have never received a mailer from them. I've played tables, slots, vp, high coin in , low coin in and they don't blink an eye.

Southpoint I've heard is bad also. My buddy lost $4000 on a penny buffalo. Never got mailers. Just a room when he lost. So stingy

I was in Palace Station last week. A friend was there for a convention. I was at the craps table for about 45 minutes before I had to leave, I was certain I developed stage 3 lung cancer. I've never been in any environment in my life with so much smoke.

Yeah and that was in one year. The worst thing was that place really didn't comp me that well. Loosing that type of money and i was not invited to many of the events they held. Even though my host said they would add me, it just sucked knowing some events i would have to "beg" to be added. They always wanted me to out do my previous years losses. I've been a Whale and a guppie.
