Interesting. Their restaurants are always busy in Asia. I see they have 8 locations now in California. Wonder if they’re just as busy.

@DBear i can attest that the flagship in Seattle, WA and the 2 I’ve been to in CA are insanely busy. Maybe Vegas will break the cycle lol

Wow aria cafe gone. Lot of good memories there.

Din Tai Fung is always packed here in Bellevue as well. While I like it, I'd rather go to a locals spot for soup dumplings, shu mai, hao gow. Their portions are small and overpriced, but it is vegas after all so they'll probably do well.

Their quality control in the US slipped greatly. I wouldn’t go to a Din Tai Fung outside of Taiwan.

It might still be open. Aria's website still has it listed. It was kind of dying a slow death going from being open 24/7 to recently closing at 2:30 pm every day.

Aria Cafe has been subpar my last few visits. I wonder what will take its place for breakfast as this new place seems more suited for lunch and dinner.

I know they tested a breakfast pizza at Five50 a few months ago, not sure if that went anywhere. The Burger Lounge has breakfast, but apart from the cheesy hash brown bites, it’s terrible. Of course there’s the Aria Patisserie and the buffet. Aria might be going all “fast casual” for breakfast now, and that’s fine, but it seems odd to not have a cafe for full service breakfast.

I also wonder how Aria Cafe’s departure will impact room service because they shared a kitchen.

Was there October 26-30th. The Cafe was still open.

I'm pretty excited, perhaps more for the closing of Aria Cafe which was the worst restaurant on that property. You can't go wrong with soup dumplings though.
