Ok guys I'm sure this has been asked and answered many times but need some help here. I became diamond last fall at the end of my trip and this will be my first time back. I currently have ~ 12,000 reward credits but zero tier credits. Will I be able to go into the diamond lounge and just pay 1,000 reward credits?

What was your tier score at the end of last year? If it was 25,000 you get in free. If it was between 15,000 and $24,999 you’ll have to burn some reward credits to get in.

If you had between 15,000 and 25,000 last year you will have to pay the 1,000 rc. If you were over 25k then you are free

Yes, you will need to pay 1,000 RCs in most cases to enter. They will swipe your card and it will show them what your score was at the end of the year. They will then tell you that they will take 1,000 RCs off your account.

Be selective about which ones you go to. Don't just waste credits if you can. Most in Vegas only serve hot food from 4-6pm, so if that is your thing go then. Just prepared for it to be crazy busy!

So my host routinely clears all my RC's off at the end of my trips to take care of charges.

So I can't go to the diamond lounge until I gamble and get 1K in RC's? Seems stupid! Should have the ability to just charge 10 dollars to your room instead.

I would never pay $10 to get into it. Not even $5.
    Free, probably right.

If you achieve diamond through play then you dont need rcs to get in.

They still want the Diamond lounges to be exclusive which i understand, the amount of people tier matched is crazy. They want people to gamble with them after all and not just tier match for the perks.... I get it.

When we arrived at Bally's a couple weeks ago we decompressed at the Paris DL and between the 2 of us had 16 drinks, 3 lbs of wings and countless chips. You can make $10RC work if you want to.

You can earn Diamond at 15k. You need to have 25k to avoid paying to get in lounge.

And, to other posters - we would ALWAYS make it worth paying $10 if needed. 2-4 drinks, some food, etc.

When people say hot food, does mean there’s meals like the AC lounges at that time and just wings and snacks at other times? Or are wings and hors d’oueuvres the hot food?

Rio had roasted Chicken and BBQ Ribs, with various salads. Paris was wings and some casserole.

LV lounges are getting better, but they're no where near as good as AC lounges. Generally no food, then for a couple of hours a semi decent spread. That's it.

They have a sign outside with the menu from 4-6pm. They are open 4-9pm sun-thurs and 12-9 Friday and Saturday. Most still have nuts and fruit and desert all the time. Caesars has the best food. Usually always a soup as well.

So, if staying at Flamingo, can you visit any CET lounge? Anyone know how Flamingo stacks up compared to others? We want to check out a lounge at least a couple of times during the week. Any difference weeknight vs. Weekend?
