Hey all,

I'm headed out Sunday with a friend and his wife. I've always just come with one other person since got diamond at CET, so getting us both in the diamond lounge hasn't been an issue as you can bring a friend. Has anyone had success with talking your way into getting a second person in with you? Would a $20 to the person checking help keep that door open a little longer? Not a biggie if that's a hard and fast rule, but did want to see how much mileage varies on that.

Thanks!

no and no
a host can do it .but otherwise no. they check u in with picture id.the rooms arent that big and 7* have priority

Would it even be remotely worth paying $20 to get someone in?

Maybe just find someone else going in alone, and ask them really nicely if they'll sign your friend's wife in?

The policy for diamond level guests in Atlantic City is 1 extra person can come in with you for free and additional people are 25,000 comps ($25c). It may be different in LV because in Atlantic City the diamond lounges serve a full dinner buffet. Really quite nice.

in vegas they dont charge u for any guest or your self to get in.its totaly free, diamond u plus 1 sevenen stars u plus more than 1

depends on the lounge and how packed it is...if its real slow the door person will let them in, busy and you need host authorization

lounges in other states also vary...new orleans its diamond member +1...SevenStar member +3...but any host in the host office next door can give you a pass for extra guest each day...I have taken myself plus 8 guest in at one time without a pass

A few years back, or group of 9 went to Paris DL....we had 4 Diamond cardholders & hoped we could talk them into letting our extra person in....the girls at the desk would not budge so one Diamond ran over to the host office at the Diamond check-in to ask. The host came back with her & advised the girl to allow that person in....should not be a big issue with 4 Diamonds....All of us were able to get in....nice, since that 9th person was our local Priest who goes to LV to play poker tournaments....kind of funny!

Are you Diamond card holders limited as to the number of times they can visit a lounge? If not, why can't you take one guest in, then leave, come back, and take another guest in?

I'm a 7* at CET. My trip last October I was meeting up with four other people in Vegas. We were going to get together at Caesars where I was staying. I asked my host to see if she could get me entry for an extra person when we meet up at the lounge. She had a note in a package at check-in from the manager of the Diamond/7* lounge to allow entry for me & 4 guests for the my entire trip.

becuase they swipe your card with ur id upon entry .and food is only for about 2 hours ,they know all the tricks and faces

I'm low-level Diamond and have gotten two extra buddies (total of 4 of us) into both Caesars and PH lounges two straight years each over Labor Day weekend. They only called for host approval once out of those four times. I guess it's just a YMMV situation.

As a Diamond member, you can come and go as many times as you want (not speaking of A/C). If you bring a guest, you are not allowed to leave that guest in the lounge without you. So, by policy, the above ploy would not work. In practice, you MIGHT be able to get away with it. Would depend on the front desk person paying attention or if they even cared.

Stopped in at the Rio Diamond Lounge last fall with 2 guests. I was directed over to the host for approval. A quick detour to the Diamond check-in area and we were good to go.

My closest experience to this was when I was visiting by myself once and a guy came up behind me with two guests. He started to ask about it - and I just stopped him and said the other guy could be my +1. So - one option would be to look for a Diamond member going in solo and ask them if they will take your other friend in. Not the most convenient obviously - but a possible option. A similar possibility is to make friends with a Diamond player at a table and then ask them if they will help you get your friend into the lounge. Just takes them a couple minutes. I really don't think they check at all to make sure a guest leaves when the Diamond member they came in with leaves. But they also are not stupid and would obviously know if you left a guest in and came back five minutes later with another guest.
