Thank you for posting that informative article. 40+ years going to Vegas, I never knew there was a Vegas Vickie.

I remember when part of #1 (to be demolished) contained a pawn shop. This is the building right across Binions. I remember because I passed by the place when walking to the FSE from the Cal.

Funny, I was wondering about the people who would "tag" the rooftops and parking structure of LVC and how they got to the rooftops. Had to have been done recently because google maps does not show the tagging on the rooftop.

I never knew the sign was actually named that. But being near Glitter Gulch, I always noticed the sign walking by. @vegasvic on the other hand...sorry man. Haha

And the mandated gaming, dang has LVC been closed that long? Or they just doing it early?

I fully expect Vegas Vickie to make a triumphant return. I'm planning on getting down there for photos on Monday. (I'm such a geek, I'm planning a short vacation around this.)

I also was there for the closure of Mermaids and have swag stolen from LVC and La Bayou.

Seems like a quick timeline to have this completed in November (if I got that right) only because of the number of truckloads of debris having to be removed from the site and the location. Good to finally see something in print though. Thanks for the link.
