We're staying at Delano for the weekend and my wife just had knee surgery. She can walk but can get sore so we were wondering if they have wheelchairs available for rent? I know the concierge at Paris will rent a chair for $18 a day but can't find anything at the Mandalay Bay complex. Anyone have any experience?

There are several companies that will deliver electric scooter to your hotel and pick it up. I see them all the time with rent me labels on them. Try google. Here is an example. I have not tried them

    I always use www.702scooters.com or www.lasvegaswheelchairs.com

Both are good, but I pick dependent on the length of my stay.

They'll deliver it to the hotel, and you just leave it there when you check out for them to collect.

    Call the bell desk. 702-632-9370.

At Caesars, the bell desk has wheelchairs provided to use within the hotel. I do not know if it's an ADA requirement. If you were planning on just staying in the MB-Luxor complex, it's a possibility.

Get her a scooter. It has a basket to carry stuff and has a small learning curve. @Marky147 's suggestions are great also. I, when I had to rent one (as opposed to being comped), used Scooterbug.com and they have never failed me. They are still the provider at the Plaza and I haven't had any mechanical issues ever.

I never thought about getting them comped. I usually just book one for the whole trip, and it's only this last year or so I've had any part of my stay comped.

I'm only comped for half my nights, so presume I'd just have to pay the casino rate for their scooter.

@Marky147 Oh god, can you imagine? "Sorry, your play was a little light last trip. I can only give you crutches."

Absolutely contact your host and ask for it upfront. I betcha you'll get it! I've gotten it comped upfront at Plaza, Cosmo, Sam's Town and M Resort.

I've already booked one for Xmas, so won't worry about it now, but will definitely try that for my summer trip.

I think I've got 5 hotels in the summer, so I'll be popular asking for a scooter from all of those. I don't actually have a host, I'm only booked through offers on the sites, so not sure what the outcome will be when I call the concierge.
