I came into this trip needing about 13 K to hit Seven Stars, which I did in two days of play. I know that there’s have been one or two posts in the past, about people being denied Seven Stars even though kk they hit the 150K mark. Mine was actually confirmed within an hour of when I requested the upgrade at the Caesars Rewards desk.

It probably didn’t hurt that 99.9% of my play was from gaming and only about a tenth was from the 5X multiplier. When I asked about the Seven Stars benefits, the CR desk person was nice, but not very informative. Big Surprise!

It probably didn’t hurt that you were there to ask in person at Caesars Palace either, assuming Vegas is your dominant market and CP is your dominant property.

The instances when someone with 150k tier credits is not approved are truly unusual cases. If you are a typical player you will be rubber stamped.

You will get a lot more information about 7 Stars here than you will from a booth person at Caesars Rewards.

I am in Vegas, which as you say probably didn’t hurt. It’s sad but true, that I get better information from this board than I do from Caesars!

On a somewhat related note, it appears that Caesars is in the process of of closing ldown their Caesars Rewards counters and combining them with the Cashier cage. They have already done this at Vegas Bally’s, and I was told that they plan to roll that out to their other casinos in Vegas. Naturally, it doesn’t appear that they increased staffing at the Cashiers. During most of the time, I went to The cashier at Bally’s, they had just two windows open!

The combo has been the case at Harrah's I believe for at least a year as well; three windows and dedicated to Seven Stars/Diamond.

Congrats on reaching Seven Stars. Yes, it is not what it used to be but earning while you play as you normally would isn't a bad thing. Now, just maximize the benefits!

It will be brutal if you have to go to the cashier at CP to deal with CR stuff, the lines will be ridiculous. There is simply not enough space there for the number of people who will be waiting, lol.

The trained booth personnel don’t know much about the program beyond the most routine inquiries. I shudder to think how little the cashiers will know.

Well, last night, I did do something I had never done in a hotel room before. I ordered a movie! I’m glad It is now comped, since the prices shocked me. The one I ordered, which had been out for maybe a year, was $19.95. Some of the new releases were $29.95.

I’m actually thinking of going to AC, but it’s not easy to get to from Houston. I know that I get limo transportation from an airport for my trip, but I’m not sure if that would include the Philly airport. It looks like Spirit is the only airline that flies into AC, but I refuse to fly them.

mad far as my gaming results, it was definitely losses, but I would rather not give even a rough quantification, other to say it was fairly significant

Is this automatic? Have never used this.

For the AC 7* trip a limo from Philadelphia airport is covered, setup with a host. Did a junket instead that flew directly into AC which was very convenient.

Thanks for the information! If I do go to AC for this years 7 star trip, it will need to be soon. Before long, the weather will be a little too questionable to attempt. I use to have to fly into Minnesota (with a stop at Chicago O’Hare), for Christmas every year and you never knew what weather you would get!

With respect to the free movie, I did stop by the Diamond/7 Stars check in yesterday, and they entered a few key strokes to make sure it was taken off my account as soon as I ordered it.

I double checked by account balance on my TV this morning, and sure enough never showed. My advice would be to ask about this benefit when you check in at the 7 stars check in. I’m not sure that they would be aware if it at the regular front desk.

Welcome to the dubious club of Seven Stars!

Careful when ordering a movie. Most free Seven Stars movies are $19.95 but the same movie, may have a option for more than that if your choose the watch it for a month (or something like that). You don't want to choose any more expensive option as you may be charged for the difference. Assuming your room is coded for "Seven stars media" by the front desk, you are entitled to a free Seven stars movie every calendar day. So what I do is that upon checkin at night, I start a movie before midnight -- which I can restart within 24 hours. So over a two night weekend I can watch three free movies.

BTW, there are also adult movies available for free Seven Stars movies -- in case you are asking for a friend.

@fasbman also I hope you know that as a first time Seven Stars, you get a retreat with Seven Stars benefits (airfare, limo, $500 resort credits) prior to January 31, 2022 and then another Annual Retreat from Feb 1, 2022 to January 31, 2023.

Thanks FABismonte! I was aware of that. I also still have my $600 flight credit for 2021 and two $100 Diamond celebrations. So I have a lot of eating and drinking ahead of me. It’s a dirty job, but someone has to do it!

Congrats on achieving 7 stars. For the record, and I know this first-hand, 150K TC's does NOT guarantee 7*. I made the 150K threshold back in 2019 and was told that the ONLY reason I was not awarded 7* was that my play was simply not profitable enough to the casino. After a couple of months of battling back and forth, I was eventually given the perks, but it was a pain.

Well, I'm guessing that my play was definitely profitable enough for them. Again, while I tried to maximize the daily TC bonuses, I didn't get a significant amount of help from the 5X multipliers. Also, their is anecdotal evidence mentioned on this board that are people giving up high level status. If this indeed is part of a larger trend, then they may be more liberal in awarding seven stars status now.

Based upon the timeframe for my approval (within an hour of requesting it), I am assuming that an algorithm first looks at it. In most cases it would be automatically approved. If it doesn't pass muster with the algorithm, then a human reviews it.

While this is conjecture on my part, it would be difficult to believe that it could have been approved so quickly if a human actually reviewed and approved it. If any one has specific first hand information on the review and approval process for Seven Stars, I would love to hear it!

The VP of whatever your dominant casino is has to sign off on it.

I would love to know what happened that they told you this. Can you elaborate a little more on your play style and how/where you earned your TC and such. I am very interested in this.

I'm not certain of this and someone can correct me if I am wrong, but if you don't want to spend the 500 in food quickly, my understanding is you could convert the 500 folio to reward credits if you go to New Orleans. I'm not sure if you can take a retreat there or how it works, but I had heard historically that this is something that can be done.
