December? Really? Yep.. and LIVE!

Yep, Vegas in December on a comp'd trip by aria! W00t! My biggest pet peeve in Vegas is to request a non smoking room and get a stenchy nasty room filled with cigarette smoke. Room 1 was just that. Called the front desk and moved to room 2. Yeah... Worse. Moved to room 3 on a lower level and didn't like that, but the extra $100 food credit helped. Plus the buffet passes they through in for each day (hate buffets but love free). So now we have our room (awesome by the way) and are ready to start the trip. Walked to ABC at Planet Hollywood for some spirits and will get the night going.

Will update when I remember. Sofar have only lost $100 so I'm happy.

Oh! We had to pay a resort fee invite comp'd rooms, but with all our hassles we picked up four of the "free drink" coupons that come with the fee (that's 8 total drinks and you normally get 2 per trip). Since we often hang out in lounges and but drinks, this totally offsets any resort fees for me. So far, awesomesauce = deliciousness

 

So after all that I was walking by a roulette table which I never play but the number 3 was screaming at me. Like SCREAMING. So I put the table min down on 3 ($15) and it hit. I was super happy and walked away. The people at the table didn't seem to like me but my losses turned to gains so WooHoo!

 

Resort fee on a comp'd room? That sucks! Oh well, just don't forget those drink coupons!

Moved to NYNY. Went to Chin Chin to have sushi. It's surprisingly good. And... Yet again... We meet some nice Aussies. The streak is on, we always meet some Aussie folks in Vegas!!!

Oh and won $400 at craps before eating. Vegas like me again. Finally.

Wow, 1am came quick. The first night is rough as I usually get up at 4 or 5am then try to tie it on all night. I don't mean to get upbso early I just can't sleep as I'm so excited.

Today, food time and then downtown to drain their coffers. This trip has been all positive cash flow so far which makes me oh so happy.

Lar should be here now and will meet up with him and Tanya tonight STOKED!!!

I'm such not a good live poster, but had to talk about this. While playing at Aria, I'm down about 200 and the BJ dealer tells me to stop tipping him until I get back in the black. Tipping for me is the cost of the game, but to have a dealer tell me to stop giving him money? It must be Christmas time. After that, the tips kept flowing. I believe in karma

 

that is cool to hear that. there are some great dealers in vegas...you just have to find them! i hope you did tip him well at the end.
