Slots Dancing Drums Explosions - Exceptional win @ $5.88 spin

Gotta be said, i just had the most exceptional win EVER on Dancing Drums Explosions machine in Mandalay Bay.....

I normally hit at $8.88 , but went with $5.88 this time.
I got the 3 drums after spending through $60 without even a 40 cent win......
I selected the Mystery prize....
Oh wow, could'nt believe my eyes!
It landed on: 4x5 (1024 ways), with 3 spins......
Spin 1 = $0.00
Spin 2 = $0.00
Spin 3 (drum roll...........) = $0.40 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talk about a joke! I figured even if the bonus round was in a bad mood, i would get at least 5 to 1 on my $5.88 spin....

Makes the "huff n puff" machine of which the night before, i ploughed in $505, at mainly $9 per spin (2c), then for the last $100, i switched to $7.50 spin (1c) , and got no bonus, and recorded total payback of $69 !
oh well

I hate when that happens! I'd rather not get a bonus at all than get a no pay or tiny-pay bonus

Dancing Drums is my current nemesis. Last 4-5 trips, I can't even trigger a bonus, Explosion, Grand or Prosperity.

 

I have given up on picking the "Mystery" on any bonus that has it. It has never paid well and more often than not gives very minimal spins and such.

Someone should start a "Show Us Your Worse Bonus" thread. I take pics of my good hits. I'm going to start taking pics of my really bad ones

i would have taken some pics of my good wins on the slots, but no matter what slot i pick, i am not getting a win,let alone a dangling carrot win...
ie: a $5, $6, $7.50, $8.88 or $10 slot, in goes $100 - $120 .....
On quite a few machines, i have span through without even a .60 cent or $2 win .......
Think i had $32 on a willy wonka machine as my biggest win...

Slots felt like they were on clawback last month when playing max bet on the 1c De-nom....
This month, they are proper on clawback
I gotta stop playing them, or start playing the $2 - $2.50 per spin , as i see players winning on those bets!

I always choose the option with most spins. It has the best chance to retrigger.

I never choose the mystery option, but if I ever get the dastardly result you got, I really will swear off those dang snickering babies

 

Hit one like this and never play it again. Note: I wish I had taken my own advice but I probably lost another $1k over a couple more visits in it until I learned not to touch it anymore. The final win was about $8300 after 11 free spins.

well, 3 nights left of our trip, and i still not learn't my lesson!!
I am finding that $100 into a slot, with max bet @ 1c (usually $5 or above), results in 10 to 20 spins with no result, or i might win 2 or 3 times with hits of 40 cents to $3 !
I think my mlife card is bugged !!

I never pick the mystery because it can give you the worse. I always pick the middle one. Pays the best for me.
