Every trip we use our gold coins for a custom reward (tickets or resort credits).

Our upcoming May trip we will have at least 12 million coins, which translate into approximately $1200.00 depending upon the resort. Needless to say that will pay for a few good meals

For those of you that have hosts, what kind of custom rewards have asked for and received?

Dinner at Bazaar Meats at SLS (had to cancel that one)
An extra night at MGM Cotai (Macau)
    Food Credit at MGM Cotai
    mLife Gift card(s)

I usually just get MLife gift cards, but have had a couple nights at Aria over a weekend, I think.

It seems like 12 million LPs should be worth a lot more than $1200. You could buy 80 $50 freeplay rewards with that, which would be $4000 in free play.

That isn’t something I am interested in. We get free play on all of our Mlife offers. You cannot stack the MyVEGAS FP with Mlife FP.

That’s fine if you don’t want a particular reward. I’m just using it as an example. It appears to me that all of the rewards on the app have an exchange rate of much better than 10,000 LP=$1. The free play actually has one of the worst at 3,000 LP=$1. Many are more like 1,000 LP=$1. So it just seems like you should be getting a better return than you are suggesting.

But . . . .you can't buy 80 $50 free plays unless you do it over 80 months (6 1/2 years). The economy is what it is, and you choose to play if you want.

As I stated in another post, I "choose" to play because I can make an "investment" of $1000 profitable.

For me, it's not about what the "free" LPs are worth. IMHO, you have to "spend money to make money".

As I have stated, I wanted to know what custom rewards folks got from their MyVEGAS Host.

Since 2015, when we used our MyVEGAS Host our return is 1 million LP’s to $100.00 In fact when we were At Aria last Summer we had 8 million LP’s and received $800.00 resort credit.

    DaiLun thanks for your assistance.

I got $775 for 9m LPs this summer, but I wasn't level 7, so not sure if that had any bearing on things.

Out of curiosity, how did you manage to do that if you weren't level 7? I presume means you don't have a host, which I've always understood to be the only channel through which you can get custom rewards.

I used to get e-mails about promos and stuff from my host, even during the periods I wasn't level 7. I asked her if I could still contact her for a gift card in the summer, and she said that would be fine.

Think it may have changed now, though. I was removed from the host programme back in September, and have to get back to level 7 now to get back on the firm.

We booked a four night comp stay at Bellagio in a Tower Fountain View King.

I am wondering about using my LP’s for an upgrade?

I just found out we can upgrade to a Cypress Suite for $150.00 per night at Bellagio?

I'm a little confused by these posts because they seem to contradict what I'd read in the past. Are previously non-hosted players able to get custom rewards once they hit level 7? And does it take $5,000 in lifetime spend like I saw in another post? Less? I recognize these are best guesses but it seemed like the custom reward path was closed to newbies.

Are HGS points the only gifts that level 6 and 7 see that others can't? So it's all mostly about getting rewards that are sold out or a heads up on special rewards that are coming up? Thanks!

PS If it matters, I currently have 5 rewards per month, see the 2 nights at all properties, the konami freeplay, the $100 freeplay with 3 night stays and have spent around $600 lifetime.

    Paging @DaiLun

    Q. Are previously non-hosted players able to get custom rewards once they hit level 7?
    A. The rules may have changed slightly, and it appears that lifetime spend may play a role, but hosted players (level 7) should be able to get custom rewards.

Q.And does it take $5,000 in lifetime spend like I saw in another post?
    A. I'm not sure about that, lifetime spend may only apply to certain rewards, like the 500,000 HGS point award.

Q.Are HGS points the only gifts that level 6 and 7 see that others can't?
    A. I am the wrong person to ask because I have had a host since 2013, have a large lifetime spend, and can see ALL awards. Perhaps @Marky147 can provide a better answer.

I've spent a fair bit over the years, a chunk of it when the game was really good in 2013, and I thought I could claw it all back through 2 week stays on my next trip, then didn' hit vegas for almost 2 years, and the game changed.

I also punt infrequently when I'm bored, and did get to 7 again once in 2017, when I was making a decent chunk grinding slots at UK/European online casinos.

My lifetime spend is probably about that, and I'll likely try and play things like DaiLun now. Just spending money to utilise the 500k HGS at Xmas, though I will only be able to wangle the one trip being this side of the pond.

I think I can see all the rewards, though I'm no longer a permanent member of the host programme. I never actually met with my host, and only used to speak with her via e-mail every few months :)
