Just been watching an episode of CSI Vegas, it was called Take my life, please. It was the story of two old comedians who were trying to make a return to the big time in Vegas. It turned out one killed the other (spoiler alert.) At the end the comedian was reminiscing about old Vegas. It finished with images of Vegas demolitions of Desert Inn, Sands, Boardwalk, Landmark and Frontier.

GRRRR....spoiler alerts usually come before the spoiler. This episode of CSI is forever ruined. I’ve been saving this episode for 10 years and now the excitement is gone. Please don’t spoil Dallas for me.

I did read that you don't hear real hotels mentioned in the show as the owners felt it was bad for business even though it is fiction. I did hear the 4 Kings mentioned in one episode.

We saw Laurence Fishburne filming a scene with a couple hookers on Fremont a few years back. Girls were gorgeous - definitely actors, not your usual Vegas “escorts.”
