Outside of Caesars Palace, CET has really improved their gaming. It is really promising. I hope everyone that cares about good gaming rules, makes sure to stop by Cromwell and let them know we appreciate their changes.

They are the location of my biggest hand pay so this just doubles my enthusiasm for going there!

    urgh..
I have never been a fan of this casino..
Probably just because of how small it is.

But with these changes I will definitely need to show some support and gamble there on my fall trip.

They almost have to do something. I know they were trying to be an upscale boutique resort. But that just meant their rooms cost more than they should, so the club kids there stacked each 2 bedroom standard room with 5-6 people.

I have walked through the property many times. Never saw a reason to stop and play. Its smaller, dark, and a lot of the seats at the tables and slots were clubber just sitting waiting for something or another. Maybe the casino needs money and this is how they are doing it.

Hope it works for them. Although it's not hard to find $10 craps on the strip except Fri - Sat nights. And even $5 during the day at Luxor, Excal and the lower half CET props.

    I'm thinking Grid's right, maybe it's a Cromwell-specific problem they're trying to solve.

Believe it when I see it. Would not be surprised at some bait and switch like low limits OR 3:2. Or the known bad rules go away, but they cripple the other rules.

But it at least bears investigation.

eh, a lot of it is that MLife worsened up their gaming more recently than CET did outside of Cromwell. I've not seen favorable changes at the Linq or Harrahs, for instance.

Cromwell is a great place and I've been giving them a lot of play. Their waitress service is also strong. We should reward them with our gaming dollars for trying to do the right thing.

the only problem I see is that I have NEVER won at tables or slots there - I keep saying I will never go back, it doesn't like me and then I go thinking this time will be different....

Next time , I now know I will have to meander over there to see Lucy holding that football for me..

This is great news. I've always enjoyed the Cromwell, and this makes it even better. I may play enough here now to actually get a room comped regularly!

Other rules were normal when I played in June. Normal craps pays, standard strip blackjack (i.e. hit soft seventeen, double any two, double after splitting is allowed, etc.), and the VP really is full pay single line for quarters (with reduced TR earn)

    It's legit.

I love the craps tables at the Cromwell. It is normally 10 dollars tables, but 100 times odds is hard to beat. I've also hit two 5 point fire bets there, so there is SOME luck in that building!

Yes and you have got it all. I liked playing there as far back as Barbary coast days but I don't ever remember having a win there.

they have some good looking CW. I'm guessing they hired new ones when they reopened. Given the union contracts in Vegas, newer areas/casinos tend to have better looking waitresses.
