If they do I doubt it will be in April.I wonder if the chips will change from “Cromwell” to “Vanderpump”.
Yea sounds like an usual Tuesday at the CromwellWalked through today...no valet, sportsbook was not staffed and the main bar was closed. Place was pretty empty, but that is normal.
A while back, when I suggested in another thread that this change would not amount to much because she is not a casino resort designer/planner, I got some fervent (yet polite) pushback from Vanderpump enthusiasts telling me how I was wrong and what a great designer she is. I still don't see a Vegas resort (especially this company) allowing someone that has never designed or built a casino resort redesign an entire property. I still think this situation is more of a branding deal, probably with some added flourishes to give the impression of newness and/or upgrades (i.e. new signs, carpets, and paint!). But that said, I could be completely wrong. I don't think all of us know for sure just because there hasn't been a lot of press on this matter since it was first announced. Its possible they are going to redesign in phases and that these first couple months of the transition are those simple, easy flourishes. Maybe room redesigns and other big changes will still be coming (I could see them taking a chance on a Vanderpump floor or section of the hotel, similar to the Nobu tower at CP). But if those big changes do not arrive before the next Bravo-con, I wouldn't expect to ever see them.Cant be a massive change if they only need 2 months to transition it.
Likely just be the same resort with some new carpet, paint and signage..
