    My Trip Report

Today I’m finishing my tribal trip in California and flying into las Vegas and staying at Cromwell. But Might play both at Cromwell and Caesars since Caesars has more craps tubs.

Seems like the CA portion of your trip turned out well :) even in the face of Harrah’s SoCal apparently downgrading their VP  Best of luck for the Vegas leg

After a tumultuous flight on Frontier from San Diego with the police being called to kick off a passenger that delayed us. It was an omen of the trip. I was up 6k in the first 2 hours. Ended up giving back around $17,000. Not a good first night. 100x odds at Cromwell can be dangerous when you press after losses.

Still up overall on this trip, but this stack had more grey chips at one point. You know it’s bad when I have red and white chips :(. Cant win em all. May end up at Red Rock earlier than expected...

Made back 10k right off the bat today. Then gave it back and pretty much broke even on the day sadly. The dice at every table were just not letting either side win. Played at Caesars today and it was busy but the dealers seemed to be in a really rotten mood. There were some nice ones but a lot were giving off negative vibes. I always bet the donts on dice, and take a full lay. Dealer sees I’m not paying attention one time and forgot to put up my full lay, doesn’t remind me after looking at the stick woman to send the dice, and shrugging as not to say to remind him because I’m not tipping every other roll. Of course a 7 rolled. I should’ve made a stink about it since I’d be taking a full lay every time, but if he wants to be a vindictive person that’s on him.

Then I played some baccarat too and a guy in the high limit room won $250,000 at my table. I ended up losing on the shoe. The relief dealer got on the game and said “so whose taking care of the dealers on this game!?!?” I’ve never seen a dealer toke hustle so outright. I told her maybe look at the guy up a quarter of a million dollars. Don’t look at me, I’m not even up on this shoe. I’ve never seen a dealer so blatantly toke hustle. That really was interesting to see them toke hustle so hard.

Anyway I moved onto VP and got dealt quad 10’s. I’ll probably end up leaving here and moving onto red rock tomorrow. Here’s some gambling porn in the meantime.

Holy crap. I think I'd get a bigger rush watching you play than playing myself. I've never seen anyone actually use the full 100x odds at Cromwell, but I used to see it all the time back in the day at Binion's. Must be a thing of beauty when it's going your way.

This makes me absolutely insane. I get that times are tough in Vegas and the dealers who are lucky enough to not have been furloughed have probably had their tip income cut in half, but the sense of entitlement has always irked me. There doesn't seem to be any recognition on their part that they're making six figures (at the nice joints) doing a job that requires no education or special skills at all. A robot or trained monkey could do it, and much more pleasantly in far too many cases.

One of my dealers would be fired on the spot for that...

@Naturaleight , just curious if you roll from the Don’t or do you pass the dice?

And yes, pretty annoying on the tip thing.

My sentiments exactly. So instead of $120,000 in the center strip they’re making $60-80,000 with full benefits due to COVID-19?

I will roll, but I will sometimes pass. I’d say I pass 75% of the time.

I have arrived at my red rock presidential suite. With rooms being so cheap on the strip, it’s become downtown looking. I don’t like leaving my room, and perhaps that sounds entitled.

But being off the strip at red rock now is much better. Just got here hopefully I run better after I watch this fight on TV.

Craps was up 5k then down 10k, then up 2K then down 1200. I said no more. Dice have been so choppy since I got to Vegas it’s been annoying. So I decided to go to blackjack. Got a great shoe and played 2 spots of 5k, got lucky and then the rest of the shoe two spots of 2K.

Is there any pictures of things people want me to get? I’ll try to get videos or pictures of me playing, but I don’t think they’re gonna like that too much. I wish I could stream videos of me playing because I know people would like to watch. I’ve been trying to set up a YouTube channel because I think it would do well but I’m not really too accustomed with this.

Slowly but surely making money. This is all profit at red rock. Had a good craps session today where the dice finally went bad while I was pressing my lays.

Then got another good shoe at blackjack that I was pressing hard, and won a paltry :) $1500 on baccarat. My dealer is on baccarat who I’ve won a lot with so I will probably be down there.

    What a comeback!

I stayed in a Red Rock Presidential Suite. You should post some pics of it....pool table, full illuminated wet bar, concierge kitchen. Just a beautiful set-up.

You forgot to include a random shoe in your pocket dump photo. ;)

    Congrats on a great session.

Thanks for the pics. How long is a usual craps playing session-or is it just ride it till the streak ends?
