Consider that a suggestion if the banner maker is ever bored. I assume new banners is task no. 999 on the to-do list, but I realized that for those of us who spend a "holiday" (Halloween is not a holiday by my definition) in Vegas, they'd be fun to have.

There is only so much real estate available in the bottom of each post. Plus, they load on every post. A heavy poster with 3-4 timers would really clog up the page. We decided two timers was a good maximum.

Thanks Sonya, that makes total sense! Didn't think about that aspect.

Quick question: When your countdown timer gets to 0 (meaning you are taking your trip to Vegas) does the “trips to Las Vegas” number in your profile automatically get incremented or do you have to manually go in and update your profile after each trip to keep the number accurate?

No. You have to change that manually if you want your trip count to be current

Sorry for the "dumb tourist" question, but just to clarify, one uses a countdown timer to indicate the time remaining until their next "booked" visit to LV (and, perhaps, to the specific thing listed in the timer's background image)?

Or whatever you are counting down towards. Some folks use the generic backgrounds to show trip elsewhere too.

Like SH0CK said, people use the timers however it works best for them. :) Typically I put the time I will be arriving in Vegas. When my flight touches down, or when I expect to be parking at the hotel, if I'm driving. You could countdown to a show or a dinner reservation or whatever. It's up to you.

Be sure to let us know if that didn't answer your question completely.

Will the TR countdown timers be updated with Caesar's Rewards? Not like it matters, but just curious

Eventually. We talked about making the change a few months back, but we may have lost track of our graphics person. :) Plus, we are still talking about some other possible changes and decided to hold off for now.

    Timer question -
We always land in the morning. This time we will land at night.
I did not see a choice for AM or PM. Should I use Military Time?
And should I choose my Time Zone or Pacific Time Zone?

I suppose it depends what time you want to class as the start of your trip?

For example my timer starts at the time of departure of my flight. I could just add the 11 hours flight time on and time it to landing in las vegas. So you could just add on your flight time and it will be the time you land. No need to worry about time zones as its just a count down, and not a clock.
