    Yes it is out in boonies, but it was within 2 miles of where our house was located. We lived in the far NW corner of the City of Las Vegas,

    Oldest restaurant in Vegas and it was was cheesy with the old movie posters decorating the walls, but we always enjoyed a nice steak dinner there.

    The place was sold a number of years ago, but we thought the food quality was still very good.

    As any veteran VMB member knows, restaurant opinions are so varied. YMMV, but we liked it. It is not a Strip steakhouse, more like a supper club you'd find in the Midwest.

    All that being said, I wouldn't rent a car to just go there. I love the Steak House at Circus and if you are craving beef, I would go there, as opposed to renting a car.

    I have 3 things, and yes I crave them!!

    I crave the custom pasta station at Mandalay Bay buffet, don't know why but that's the best pasta I've had anywhere.

    Earl of Sandwich at Planet Hollywood is also amazing!!

    In-N-Out burger is like the best burger I've ever had, anywhere. Animal style please!!

    I'm just so dang happy to be served a meal that I didn't have to shop for, cook, and clean up after. I'm easy to please.

    In terms of cravings, I would say;

    a) coffee shop omelets there's something about being served an omelet that's folded in 3 with melted cheese leaking out of it that makes me happy

    b) the variety of a buffet, just standing there with my plate deciding what I'm going to try first, being able to take a little bit of something new to try.

    We love pizza, but the Grinaldi's was not for us. Yes, nice thin crust, but totally burned in their coal fired oven.

    I've had great luck at Grimaldi's in Henderson. Now the one in Scottsdale, not so much.

    Crab legs at MSS buffet on Friday nights. I make sure we stay Friday night on each trip so I can hit this. I ask for a table near the crab legs and wait for a fresh batch to come up. Nothing like this at home.

    Truffle Mac and Cheese at Stripsteak, MB. I can't come close myself

    Trying a new burger place or going back to Burger Bar each trip

    Dh starts to talk about the gelato at that place in Bellagio's long hallway well before we arrive. We stop there every day when we are coming back from the pool...for him. I am not a fan of any kind of ice cream.

    That place has become one of my go to places. I can't say it's the best gelato I've ever had but it's part of what Vegas is to me.
