Just back from Vegas and here are ranges of craps minimums observed from various casinos visited:

    Luxor: 15, 20
    Mandalay Bay: 25, 50
    Ellis Island: 5, 10
    Circa: 15
    Golden Gate: 10, 15
    Golden Nugget: 15
    Binions: 10, 15
    D: 15
    El Cortez: 10
    Plaza: 10
    California: 15
    Fremont: 10, 15
    South Point: 10, 15, 25

The downtown trend seems to be mostly $10 in morning/afternoon and mostly $15 in the evening.

    Stayed at Mandalay Bay 8/14 - 8/17.

They had $15 going a lot, even at night. They would raise it to $25 when it got crowded, but they grandfathered me in.

Park MGM did the same thing to me. $15 when quiet, $25 when busy.

These are the other ones I remembered:

Aria was $25 and $50 around Midnight on Tuesday.

Luxor $20 every time I walked by.

Excalibur had a very busy $10 table at one point. Usually they were $15.

M Resort was $10 on my way out of town Wednesday afternoon.

FWIW Luxor had $10 early morning (like 6:00am) on Sat 8/27, Sun 8/28, and Mon 8/29 (didn't check on Tues). Was a slow week though I think.

Yeah, Luxor is consistent with a $10 table early mornings.

just returned from 1 week at the Paris hotel and was usually 15 at 8am going to 25 by 10 am. the crapless table might stay at 15 a little longer depending on the crowd. Sept 3 in the am Paris had only 1 table open and it was $10 min till am. Ballys stayed at mostly 15 on both craps and crapless tables. harrahs was holding on to 25 and sometimes went to 15, with 2 or 3 tables usually open. Cromwell was mostly 15 day or night with 1 or two tables open, Linq was mostly $15 with usually just 1 table and also the 1 table at O'sheas.Planet Hollywood mostly was 25 on 1 table but occasionally 15 on the other table. Caesars Palace never less than $25 and 50 with dealers standing at emplty tables everytime we passed thru. These rates were noted randomly, anywhere between 7am and 11 PM with the higher minimums consistently afternoon. the mgm properties were more consistently $25 at all hours except for the Luxor and Excalibur which had $15 tables . Bellagio never moved below $25 and $50. Downtown Circa had $15tables in the am, ground floor Even Golden Gate was trying to hold out for $15. The only $10 table was at the four queens and had players at 8am. The rest of them had dealers just trying to keep the dust from settling on the empty tables. Craps is all we play and were not interested in electronic games. I think the casinos are using the excuse of "nobody wants to work" and we can't make any money at $10 minimums but were doing just fine with employees standing at empty card tables and craps tables. Take a look at the native casinos. They seem to be be doing just fine with $5and $10 min. in the northwest.

They will have staffed tables empty but won’t lower mins to get action going. I’m sure they know more about running a gambling establishment than me. It just doesn’t make sense to me.
