Ok, before everyone gives me grief about another buffet question. Hear me out, please. LOL
We're coming to Vegas in August and for my birthday I want to eat crab legs. Love them, don't
get to eat them enough. So my question is, where can I go to get HOT crab legs on the buffet
instead of cold? I know that the butter on the buffet for the crab legs is usually hot, but there is
nothing better than crab legs so hot that it burns your fingers trying to crack them. I can get crab
legs anytime I want living here in Florida, but I hate dealing with the beach tourist when we go out
to eat, but in Vegas I'm the tourist. So I want HOT crab legs. I prefer Dungeness, but love snow crab
and king crab. Just want them hot. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Dungeness is "hard" to find. I've only had them at Bellagio and when they were there, both hot and cold.

Otherwise, you'll find snow and king almost everywhere (2nd tier and above)

As far as hot vs. cold, mostly cold, but some of the buffets will warm them on request.

Well, Canada and Massachusetts are closed, back to Lake Tahoe
Oh what the heck, I've got vacation and myVegas points to burn. . . .

Bacchanal has cold king crab sawed in half lengthwise and cold dungeness with notches to easily crack at the very front of the buffet. They have whole hot snow crab at the rear of the buffet to the left of the Italian and Asian items.

They will steam the king or dungeon ess crab upon request where they are handing out the snow crab

Went to Aria buffet last week. The snow crab was heated and the Dungeness was on ice. I only eat it cold, so I can't say how the heated was. The Dungeness was just okay compared to getting it fresh at the Oregon Coast.

I've had hot snow crabs at Aria. And cold king crabs. The snow crabs were my favorite. And both my sisters. There was...carnage.

bshowell, I love snow crabs as well. My husband should wear safety goggles when I'm eating crab legs. LOL
Have you ever tried Dungeness crabs? They have the most meat in their legs and claws. They're my favs,
but more expensive compared to snow crab.

Oh I should try those. Being from Maryland, crabs are definitely a thing.

I have found the snow crab legs in Vegas to be so skinny....like pencil thin. Here is Missouri (our casinos here) they are thicker (snow crab legs). I also only like them HOT...lol :)
