Covid shot? Did they make you wait 15 minutes?

    15 minutes for both.

I am so impressed with our small county's well organized rollout of the vaccine. We drove through the portico at a local county facility (district court, health, sheriff, licensing, etc.), Four-five cars were sent through as a group. Post shot, that group was routed to a lane where people debriefed us, gave us a return appointment for the second shot after the first, then let us go after 15 minutes.

    Slick and well organized.

It was recommended and a waiting space was set up. They want to be certain no immediate allergic reactions. But they didn't force it. We were asked to wait, and they pointed out the VSafe folliw-up program from CDC... it was the last page of the handout they gave us regarding authorized but not approved vaccine. I've been answering VSafe texts since.... seems like a great way for CDC to gather info.

Local County Health Department took over a section, group of buildings at nearby community college campus, and set up administration clinic. They did an excellent job, staffed with public health nurses. First shot,it was a small operation. By the time I got second shot, they had much more capacity.

I stayed inside my car for the shot. Think it was 5 long lines of cars at the AZ fairgrounds. It was organized and lots of people were able to get the shot. After the shot a sticky note was put on car with info. Kept driving to exit and stopped there. Workers took notes and told us to wait 10 minutes. They came back and said ok to exit after 10 minutes. There was no leaving early. It would have been 15 minutes probably after getting the shot.

Well, I'm gonna have to wait another 72 hours for my 2nd jab. Due to a shortage of vaccine and an administrative error, I wasted 2 hours of my day waiting in line only to find out that I have to go back Monday.

I was told 30 mins when I signed up online but was told 15 mins after I received the shot.
We were directed to a separate parking lot and told to sit in our cars. I never saw anyone.
Cars in my group started leaving so after about 19 mins I drove off.
I checked the website afterwards and this message is attached to my 1st vaccination...

Ditto. Waited 15 minutes in the clinic hallway. There were volunteers handing out water and snacks. VA has absolutely been on the ball with these vaccines (at least my local one has been, anyway).

In and out for both shots. Done by my employer (major hospital/clinic). So when I got mine it was all employees.

All our staff who came in on their day off, we had them wait 15 minutes. All staff who were working could go back to their units/floors/buildings right away. They all are medical, and have team members around them who could alert if needed. Pfizer vaccine

Today we held an additional clinic off sight and all were required to wait 15 minutes. Moderna vaccine

Just got my first moderna in a drive thru parking lot maze. They asked me to wait in a parking space and gave me instructions to set up an appointment for the second shot, which itself took me about 10 minutes, and a couple people checked on me, but I realized on my way out that nothing had prevented me from flying the coop earlier.

Walgreen's asked me to stay for 10 minutes, which I did. There was a Bosnian lady there translating for her mom. Turns out her mom and I share the same birthday (different years) and mom was very nervous about the vaccine. She had her daughter ask me every couple of minutes if there were any side effects. I told her that everyone with our birthday will handle it fine, and she got a kick out of that.
