Costco: What would you get?

    Just stock up on the stuff you buy on a regular basis for the kitchen/bath.

    Don't get anything if you don't need anything. 40 off 250 not worth it for something you would not buy anyway. Tires would be a decent bet, or appliances if you need one.

    Even getting smaller things you lose the 40 bucks in the extra markup over the warehouse price.

    Not sure about Costco us but in Canada they sometimes have bulk orders of meat (such as Buffalo steaks) which would be neat as you can't get them in store.

    I know it's practically un-American, but if you don't need anything, you can save $250 instead of just $40.

    Costco does not offer online ordering for pickup in the vast majority of the country.

    I'm good whether I use the coupon code or not, as I've already saved more than the net cost of the membership with the first item (i.e. the reason that I got the membership in the first place) that I bought.
