The Cromwell cage is pretty much in the center of the casino, a little further towards the back entrance than the street.

Harrah's cage is in the front very close to LV Blvd but there's no quick getaway unless a car pulls up and you jump in.

    Not a criminal, so I don't understand.

BUT - there has to be way easier places to rob and get cash with very little cameras, very little security, less chance of getting shot, easier ways out.

I would list a few, but.... come on folks.

    How about a dispensary?

Those mentioned do have cages close to the street-facing sides but well back from the street.

Flamingo has the cage well into the casino, but there are multiple exit paths and I would guess it's closer to LVB than from the cage at PH. Cromwell probably has the shortest distance from the cage to a getaway car on the street, as in Flamingo Road.

    Harrah's as well.

Sahara , IIRC, has the cage on the east side of the casino but it's not that far from the entrance and the street.

Venetian poker room cage is pretty close, but there's a lot of obstacles in the way to outside (not really the street I guess since it opens to the plaza). Mirage is fairly close to the Harrah's exit, and it's pretty obstacle free, plus close to the actual street.

Like banks, at best you get away with it short term. Long term, no dice. Tough business to be in these days. Not many places have much cash laying around. No sweat, the state probably some kind of a retraining program.

Cameras and security, plus the Apothecary Shoppe at least (the one I'm most familiar with) has an access controlled door (need to be buzzed).

    Same here... haha...

Why would I risk my life and years of freedom to steal a few thousand dollars, when I can just get a job, sit on my rear in a nice, climate-controlled office all day, and make that much money in a month or two with zero risk?

Criminals are going through life the hard way... :haha:

I would argue that they haven't watched enough if this was their plan.

I'm waiting for the story where they make it out of the casino and attempt to cross the street but get caught on the non moving escalator

Of course, if you could see 2 minutes into the future.....

Or is that too obscure a movie reference?

How about the Golden Gate Downtown? Got to be less than 30 steps to the Canopy.

Use a 5 gallon bucket. When you reach the Canopy immediately put the cash under the bucket, sit down, and bang away. Nobody will notice.

You're all focused on casino cages. Something like Encore's poker room cage is a lot closer to the parking garage
