We used one of the LVA coupons for 2/1 at Cosmo's Wicked Spoon buffet on our last trip.

You have to visit (and be a member of) their slot club to turn this in for a voucher that you take to the buffet.

While the boothling was doing this for me, I asked her..."So, is this coupon once per person per year?"

Her reply shocked me....'No, actually it's once per person per LIFETIME." (emphasis added is mine only, she was very sweet and seemed apologetic about delivering this news).

More pleasantries were exchanged (I'll spare you the details) and we were off for a fantastic meal.

I just wanted to let y'all know this. YMMV.

    Cheers,
    Kelly

Anyone know if using last year's LVA coupon for Wicked Spoon means you can't use this year's then?

I got the impression that once per lifetime meant once per lifetime - as in if you have ever used an LVA 2/1 coupon, you can never use another 2/1 LVA coupon. If you really want to know for sure, why not give them a call?

There's plenty of variation in how casinos treat these things. The last voucher LVA gave out was surplus from an already running United Airlines promotion, so I'd bet there's a good chance you can use both. I'll report back.

that sounds crazy. If it is true, I would suggest the crew at LVA needs to look into this. surely this is not the terms that were negotiated.

I certainly hope the information I was given was incorrect. I just didn't want the VMB coupon users to count on using this and end up being disappointed if they had used it in the past.

Agreed, but good luck trying to find out - the new website is difficult for me to navigate. And I'm NOT posting to their new forums where it posts your actual name (yes you can jump through hoops and get it changed to a screen name instead, I can't be bothered).

Oh come on, they are just "working out the kinks" there, it's "only" been 2 months since they launched! Don't be so hard on them! ;-)

And just for grins, and because I'm already in a bad mood....I called LVA and asked them if they were aware that this coupon was once per lifetime.

I was advised to call the Cosmo and talk to a manager.

Oooooookaaaaaaay......so it's on ME to call and get an answer about your coupon?

    Sigh.

    I give up.

So, I guess all I can say is...........YMMV. Hope the lady I spoke with at the Identity Desk was mistaken.

We were at the Cosmopolitan for the buffet a couple of weeks ago and I asked if each of us could use more than one 2/1 Cosmo buffet coupon this year. The person at the Identity Counter we talked to said it is one per person per year. Hope he is right and it is not now one per lifetime! Both hubby and I each used one of the 2/1 coupons from the LVA last year with no problem.

Was the Cosmo in last year's coupon package? I thought it was 2 years ago, but I've been known to be wrong before!

And I certainly hope your guy was right and my gal was wrong. If you used it 2 years ago and also this year, then I would say it is probably once per year and not once per lifetime. So there may be hope!

Sorry for the misinformation, if indeed it is once per year. Fingers crossed.

    Happy couponing everyone!

Once per lifetime is okay with me. We were not impressed with the food 2 weeks ago and the trek to get to it was crazy.

It is a crazy long walk from the Identity Desk to the actual buffet.

We really enjoyed the food very much, I'm sorry you didn't have the same experience.

Based on what couponqueen posted above, it is likely that it is once per year rather than once per lifetime.
