Only played in either casino and not to any great amount at Wynn, decent amount at Cosmo, mainly because we like Wicked Spoon so much. Looking ahead to our big trip in 2017 with a group. My in-laws have stayed at Cosmo and loved it. Just never really knew enough about Wynn.

Trying to figure out where to gamble on our NYE trip to get the better offers for June 2017...

Those are my two favorite places in Vegas and about the only ones I give a decent amount of action.

Lately - the last year or so - Cosmo has been significantly more aggressive (at least for me) with comps/offers/etc. So, if comps are your top priority, Cosmo is probably the better bet.

As far as comparing properties...both are great IMO. Really depends on your tastes.

Cosmo has those great balconies going for it. And the location can't be beat. The "young vibe" cuts both ways for me. More often than not, it adds to the fun and excitement. But, occasionally, huge groups of overserved kids can be a bit hard to take. There are some great bars and restaurants and the proximity to Aria and Bellagio adds tons more options. Gambling - with the exception of pretty terrible BJ - isn't too bad for a top tier strip property.

For me, Wynn is the best all around place in Vegas. The rooms are great, the service is far above that of the other mega resorts and everything is always spotless. There are some great bars at Wynncore - though a completely different vibe than the ones at Cosmo to be sure - as well as plenty of top notch dining options. And with V/P next door, you don't have to go far for a bunch more. But, they don't comp drinks on bartop VP and they can definitely be a bit stingy on the comps. (And if you're a craps player, they only offer 2X odds.)

Again, really depends on what you're looking for...hard to go wrong with either, though.

OK, Cosmo has been our Fav. place since it opened. Especially in the middle of the summer for the Balconies. Wynn and Encore have updated all their rooms. Cosmo are in the process of updating.
Wynn and Encore have a step above for people playing, quieter and less party.
Note: cosmo recently had a security issue (couple robbed in room), so maybe they will increase elevator security.

Cosmo has better location, especially now the Park is open.

I'd still do Cosmo. Also there is a walgreens right across LVB. New Beauty and essex restaurant. Cosmo is still a cool place.

Cosmo all the way. It's a better property.
The lowest tier terrace room is better than Wynncore rooms.
The location completely demolishes the Wynn. It's center strip while Wynncore is at "the end". There's not much of anything past Wynncore. Conversely, Cosmo has Citycenter, the Bellagio, PHo, and is not far from the Linq and The Park.

No clue on Wynn, but if you're looking for June 2017 offers, Cosmo has been STELLAR to us. I'm a mid-roller, and Cosmos follow up offers have been so good, I now place my Cosmo play as a priority above Mlife play. To me, they have the best player retention program on the Strip for my play level.

I have never stayed at Cosmo, but Wynn is a great place to stay in Vegas. Service and amenities there are top notch.

Stayed in both many times and like both equally. Rooms, atmosphere, and location I'd probably give to Cosmo. Buffets and gambling comparable. If you are looking for a quiet property, personally I would go with Wynn/Encore. I hate the loud slamming doors at Cosmo. Wynn/Encore wins the customer service category hands down, if that is important to you.

Right this moment I'm in a

    Terrace One Bedroom
    Fountain View
    East Tower
    65th Floor

I have that fountain view where I'm still close to the strip. I like as well that I'm so high up that it's serene.

This is only my 2nd time at Cosmo and I've stayed 2 times at Wynncore, I'll never go back to the Wynn again unless it's free.
