Played at Cosmo some on my trip last month and made Sterling. One of the benefits of Sterling is one free night a year. Cosmo also sent me an offer for 2 free nights. Can I book the offer for 2 free nights and tack on the Sterling one free night to that stay? Thanks for any help.

Thanks for that. Didn't know if the 2 nights included the free Sterling night. Just trying to plan another trip! Thanks again.

Just one note about the Sterling night - if you stay/play at Cosmo enough to have a shot at reaching the Gold level (which comes with 2 free nights), make sure you use the Sterling night BEFORE you reach Gold. Once you reach Gold, if you haven't used the Sterling night yet, you basically forfeit it. You do still get the 2 nights for Gold, but you can't "bank" the Sterling night and end up with 3.

Also, there may be exceptions for certain dates, but I've found I was able to use the tier-based comp nights for Friday and Saturday nights. So if you're either paying for some nights or your marketing offers only cover mid-week, try to get the reservations agent to use them that way if it fits your itinerary.

Yes. They will be booked as two separate reservations but can be linked at check in.

I used a Sterling night on one trip and am using 2 Gold nights on my next, along with additional nights both times, and it was done on a single confirmation number each time. I think the only reason they'd really need to break it into multiple reservations for contiguous dates would be if you were going to stay in a different room type for the tier comp night(s) than the rest of the stay, or if they were waiving some policy and needed to do it that way because it was the only way the booking system would let them.

I think mine ended up separate as they were giving me Terrace Studio Fountain View with my Gold nights and I was paying an upgrade on the nights booked on my marketing offer. It wasn't a problem when I checked in though. It just took a few more clicks of the mouse and making sure I mentioned it when checking in.

Just back from Cosmo and made it to Sterling. This is great news that you can use the free night back to back with a marketing offer. My other question is that you get 1 sterling night per year. Do you have to actually use the night before your anniversary date or do you just have to book it by then? I earned Sterling on May 19 but I wasn't planning to go back until June 1 next year so sounds like I'll likely miss out on this free night.

Status is good for a year from when you earned it. In your case until May 19 2017. I would attempt to book before then and see if they'll let it. It's worth a shot, i go multiple times a year so I haven't had this situation personally.

Important point about Cosmo Players Club. Most places use a certain date for EVERYONE - Jan 1 for CET, Oct 1 for MGM for example.

Cosmo does it for exactly one year from when you earn it.

Just curious about something, I just got back lake Tahoe and got a new players card from Montbleu which is now called trop advantage and if you earn 10,000 ($1 = 1point) you get an annual stay at the cosmopolitan and it lists 8 casinos on the back of the brochure but it does not list the cosmopolitan. Anyone know the affiliation?
