So a few quick questions for you Cosmo experts:

I will be landing at 11am, probably in room by 1pm if I am lucky! With that being said, I'll probably go downtown ASAP for some of the match play offers via my airline. I'll only be able to use the pool the following day.

    1) Which pool is best - Boulevard or Chelsea - and why? Or should I just check out both? Note: I am NOT renting a bed or chair. I am just sitting at the pool side.
    2) Do either of the pools allow me to bring in a beer or two? I know some places (Mirage, MGM Grand) allow this, but just about everywhere else does not.

Any tips? I will probably leave the blinds open so I am up at 8am or so, will head to pool early, before 10am probably.

Not sure how much you already know about the two, but I strongly prefer the Boulevard Pool. Definitely more of a party vibe, but not too much so. Just the right amount in my opinion. Chelsea will be much more relaxed, but truthfully both will be pretty chill at that time of day.

Much prefer boulevard. Great views up and down the strip, and as mentioned before it’s a higher energy/more party type vibe compared to Chelsea but not to the extreme of a dayclub. I also like how they have multiple tiers of loungers so you can feel like you’re in the thick of it while in the pool but kinda escape when you go back to your chair. I believe Boulevard pool faces east as well compared to Chelsea facing south so it will get more sun in the mornings.

I have only done the Chelsea pool, mostly because I prefer the more calm, quiet pool and also because the cabanas at Chelsea are usually cheaper than Blvd. Although that is not an issue for you.

We prefer Boulevard pool. Spent a fabulous day there last Friday.

Another Boulevard pool vote! Get there early enough and you can grab a water lounger for free (10am ish)

We choose the Boulevard because it’s livelier than the Chelsea. Also, because the Blvd. pool has a smaller pool right beside it and we can find chairs in the shade. Great views of the strip and good music. Mornings are mellow but afternoons gets busier. I’ve walked in carrying a plastic Cosmo cup usually with water. I don’t remember them ever searching my bag.
Tip: Take some type of pool bag to carry your stuff and maybe a couple of beers discretely placed in the very bottom.
ETA: they have lockers to rent if needed.

Yes, and I’ve also seen them randomly available throughout the day. People oftentimes do not post up there all day due to their location in the water. To me, there are few things better than sitting in one of those with a pina colada in hand, soaking up the desert sun while remaining cool in the water, and taking in the views of the Strip.

Are they movable, like, floating in the pool?

Yes, you can move them around in the shallow end of the pool. You’ll love it.
