It’s a killer lunch deal! Appetizer, entree, and something else for $25 So good!
The tapas serves at Jaleo are pretty big, these are mine from December. It was slightly different offer ($25 for 3, $7 for Paella) but same same. Getting 3 each and you’d be fine.
Also if you like bourbon try the Plaza Major cocktail. It’s basically the best cocktail I’ve ever had (and I own a cocktail bar)
I’m going to E on Friday, pretty excited for it.
We went to District twice for breakfast and really enjoyed it. Huge biscuit sandwiches, donuts, lots of different drinks, but our favorite thing was the bacon egg and cheese kolache. If you don't feel like waiting at Eggslut go to District. They also have burgers/chicken etc for lunch but I didn't get to try it.
It used to only be available on 1.5 I believe, but now is available on the ground floor as well. They even had them pre mixed last time I was there so I'm guessing they sell a ton of them.
Now we're definitely doing Jaleo for lunch - thank you for the recommendations. I'm trying to map out a good eating plan for the 3-night trip. Very excited for first Cosmo stay (usually Wynn when I go with the wife!)
Shortrib Benedict at The Henry.
My fiancé absolutely loved hers.
China Poblano every trip - love the Golden Pigs
Estiatorio Milos - lunch special is just right and reasonably priced, lovely setting.
The Henry for breakfast or late night tater tot nachos.
Scarpetta is definitely on my list - great reviews here on VMB
Eggslut was fun to try, but too buttery/greasy for my taste (just my opinion)
Just in case anyone wants one ( Hoofy7 has officially made her mark on Cosmo) I have the bartenders at Chandelier now making Key Lime pie martinis! I drank a lot of them over the 4th! Lol
Well, I just had lunch at milos and thought it was really nothing special.
pretty generic tiny salmon tartare, lamb chops that were not seasoned all that well along a simple broccoli and some fries (ok, they were quite good). Generic small fruit plate for desert.
it was alright, but I don’t really see the great deal for 40 bucks + tax and tip
I absolutely loved ZUMA’s Omakase menu, we had the standard on for like 140 bucks, a lot of food and some amazing stuff.
@kingpasty Right on both counts. In fact, you can get them on the top floor too. As the rumor goes, a couple years ago some exec tried to order one on a floor where they weren't normally served and got denied. After that, they started carrying them in the entire bar.
Trying not to snicker when reading "nut milks." LOL
The meatloaf at the Henry was AWESOME!!
I'm not sure you can go really wrong with food at Cosmo.
Here are my additions to your growing list.
Pok Pok (Block 16) Chicken Wings. I go to Portland for these. They are crispy, spicy, garlicky and sticky and Just look at the photo: https://www.cosmopolitanlasvegas.com/restaurants/pok-pok-wing
And if you can find it hidden around that same area, have a Hurricane Ricardo and a plate of Truffle Nachos at Ghost Donkey.
I’ve never been but I wanna try
Rose.rabbit.lie I’ve heard they have amazing food plus entertainment
The wicked spoon buffet- I’ve heard the foods pretty good
Momofuku- I really wanna try the duck and pork belly and fried chicken
Scarpetta- the spaghetti looks amazing as does the huge steak
plenty of great looking food
We always go to Scarpetta. It is by far my fav for the simple spaghetti. It is the best I have ever had. We do like Beauty & Essex, but we sit a the bar and share apps. I am probably unlike ever person on here, but I am not a fan of the secret pizza. It's ok at best. Lardo in Block 16 has great sandwiches and I haven't had one I didn't like yet. I also recommend the short rib tator tot nachos at The Henry. BEST late night snack!!
Sea bass at Zuma, Spaghetti at Scarpetta both fantastic
From an Asian perspective, Pork Belly Ramen and Pork Belly Bun at Momofuku, great for lunch or a late night snack.
Ok so I've been to STK twice and I will say, the first time was ok, the second time was not. Both visits feel like your in a Club and they are serving ok food. If you like loud club music while you nosh on your steak, then this is the place for you... just not for me. Plus, I like to hear what my guests are saying when we are eating
